And with the knowledge of the path, cessation, and non-arising. This composition is for the sake of definite acceptance, but other things such as the knowledge of death and transmigration, birth, and aspiration are included within these alone. In short: Consciousness with outflows, without blood. This is composed for the sake of definite acceptance, because there is no third kind of conceptualization. Mostly, it is because of apprehending conventionalities such as pots, woolen cloth, men, and women. Conventionality is whatever among things like pots, woolen cloth, men, and women has become a branch of terminology. Pots, woolen cloth, women, and men, etc., do not exist in terms of many meanings. There, existence is the object that exists after conventionality, and because this exists, it is in accordance with the ultimate truth. Thus, showing multiplicity is done by stating the majority. Others say that it means the obscuring conventional consciousness. The consciousness that expands it is conventional consciousness, and therefore, the consciousness that accords with the part that definitely distinguishes what accords with the ultimate truth is called conventional consciousness. Others say that "all" means everything, and "conventional" means intelligence. Others say that intelligence engages with forms and pots, and for the most part, it is the consciousness that has become the cause of what is to be understood and what understands. Therefore, it is called conventional consciousness. Others say that since this enters the continuum from beginningless samsara, it is called continuum consciousness. Regarding the two types of outflowless [consciousness]: Some call subsequent knowledge "inferential knowledge." But that is not the case, because it is said to be seen. For inference, the term "seeing" is used, and it is said that there is no difference in seeing, since suffering and origin are not seen as self-nature. Because the four noble truths are seen exactly as they are, seeing those truths in that way does not entail the fault of being an entity focused on cessation. By accepting inferential knowledge as subsequent knowledge, the knowledge of the Dharma, which is the object of cessation, will become cessation, and direct perception

Because there is no certainty of being the same as it, it is necessarily so. For subsequent inference, there is no seeing, because the same is determined, so subsequent inference may be wrong. Seeing the truth is seeing "all conditioned things are impermanent, all dharmas are without self, nirvana is peaceful" and thus determining the same. Therefore, subsequent knowledge is subsequent inference. Manifestation is considered to be of three kinds, because the wisdom of sense experience is spoken of, so the manifestation of the senses is the ultimate of objects such as form, which is touch. The manifestation of experience is the manifestation of feelings and so on. The manifestation of wisdom is all dharmas. Each with its own and common characteristics, if effort is made, the manifestation of sense experience is not manifestation. If it is manifestation, then there is no object of obstruction, it is Dharma knowledge. If this is not the manifestation of wisdom, then the knowledge of subsequent inference can be subsequent knowledge. If the worldly correct view is to follow the form of the noble ones, then why deny the undefiled samadhi? tīkṣṇābhinipatana (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) Undefiled also has a different name, like another sandalwood torch. Showing habit, not a different name for undefiled, the other burning is like grass fire. The strong ego that appears after worldly knowledge appears, it is not superior birth, nor is it undefiled wisdom, so there is no difference. Therefore, these two kinds of knowledge are called defiled and undefiled. Divided into three kinds, that is, dividing the undefiled into two kinds, that is, the difference between Dharma and subsequent knowledge. These are also distinguished by the difference of the object. Among them, the conventional object is everything, because all dharmas of conditioned and unconditioned are objects. Dharma knowledge is only the object of suffering etc. of the desire realm, not the object of suffering etc. of the upper realm. Non-selective cessation and space are also not objects. Subsequent knowledge is also the suffering etc. of the upper realm.
