That is indeed a swift progression. Because of seeking, it is called the path. By the meaning of progression, it is the path of seeing, both of which are excellent. Others say that from the beginning, how can one see the unpolluted as it is? With the thought that it is not enough to seek completely, it is for the sake of swift progression. It is called being in accordance with the number, previously the seven limbs of enlightenment were shown, and later the eight limbs of the path were shown. In order to eliminate the thought that there are no other limbs different from the limbs of enlightenment, therefore this should not be a limb. Therefore, it is said in detail that "the complete discrimination of Dharma is a limb of perfect enlightenment." Saying "right view and so on are not the reason for the limbs themselves, so one should not examine" is said because of dissatisfaction with the distinction makers. The one called "others" refers to the teacher. The one called "only without losing the order" refers to the previous limbs of the path and the later limbs of enlightenment, like that, there was no distinction made from the order. It appears in detail in "only the first." There are many kinds of objects, which are the distinctions of form and so on, which are different such as blue. Spreading to those many kinds is distraction, abandoning, it is the mind with the state of spreading and distraction. The one called "in order to cut off" refers to focusing on each collection. If you ask "for the sake of closeness," it is called "reliance," it is reliance on craving. The one called "recollection's pervasive discrimination" is a synonym for the discrimination of recollecting the experienced object. The one called "in order to eliminate" is a synonym for eliminating the obscuration of its obstacle. The one called "with its power, diligence completely increases" refers to using the power of the four mindfulnesses to completely accomplish the four necessities. The four necessities are: abandoning the non-virtuous dharmas that have arisen, not generating the non-virtuous dharmas that have not arisen, abiding in the virtuous dharmas that have arisen, and generating the virtuous dharmas that have not arisen. After that, the one called "in order to practice samadhi," after those correct abandonments, in order to practice samadhi, in that

In order to facilitate entering into meditative absorption, the miraculous feet should be fully separated, and this should be combined with the occasion in all circumstances. Relying on meditative absorption, this is broadly stated, relying on meditative absorption, in order to lead the unpolluted path, such as faith, etc., because one has become the master of the Dharma that transcends the world, so after the miraculous feet, the faculties are stated. The so-called "that self-nature," when those faculties overcome the incompatible side and universally practice and manifest, then it is called power, and their incompatible side is disbelief, etc. The so-called "both have the limbs of the path," refers to the path of seeing. The so-called "like this," refers to elaborating on it in detail. Since the path of seeing cannot perfect the path of cultivation, then how can the path of cultivation be perfected by including the seven branches of enlightenment? As it is said, the mindfulness, etc., will also be perfected in the path of cultivation, but not in the path of seeing. In the path of seeing, it is impossible to perfect the cultivation of the path, therefore, it should be known that from the path of seeing onwards, there are limbs of the path. Therefore, as it is said, the eightfold noble path will perfect the practice, therefore, it should be known that from the path of seeing onwards, the path will be perfected in the path of cultivation. If that is the case, then both the path of seeing and the path of cultivation will have the limbs of the path. Again, the so-called "bhikshu," refers to the broad sense, and through the phrase "this is the terminology of the four noble truths," the path of seeing is shown. The so-called "how to enter through the path of realization," refers to how to realize through the path of cultivation, which is synonymous with "how to enter through the path of attainment." The so-called "enter," refers to what will definitely occur until enlightenment. Therefore, it must be considered that both have the eightfold noble path. The branches of enlightenment are the limbs of the path. The so-called "unpolluted," is only unpolluted, but they themselves are not unpolluted, because both are practices
