Entering and so on, Shamatha, Kuru Kuna Vidarshana, Kuru Ka Alobhotsa, Domahotsa, Domi, etc., are merely wishing to completely degenerate, not the gods who act in the desire realm. Because of the sharp faculties obtaining fruit there, and because of the very vast place appearing again, they are also not of the nature of complete degeneration. Others say that complete degeneration occurs because the equipment is incomplete or the basis is inconsistent, but there is neither of these there, so the lineage that follows with faith will not degenerate either. Furthermore, if someone thinks that the manifestation of afflictions will lead to complete degeneration, then will they manifest afflictions in the aftermath of a similar state of mind? If it is the form and formless realms, complete degeneration occurs due to the pervasive entanglement of purification, then by whatever pervasive entanglement the degeneration occurs, the subsequent ground whose virtue is in accordance with the degenerated part of that very ground will completely degenerate. Because one abides in the desire realm, the mind of the upper realms, which is not indicated, does not manifest, so for the emanated minds here, etc., abiding in that does not cause complete degeneration. Furthermore, is that which is in accordance with the part of degeneration not abandoned because of being free from desire? How does it manifest without being abandoned? Only that which exists in the aspect that accords with the part of abiding is slightly abandoned and in accordance, and slightly is different and in accordance. Of these, that which is abandoned and in accordance obtains the name that accords with the part of degeneration. The aspect of abiding is mostly relied upon, so it is called that which accords with the part of abiding. In the desire realm, pervasive entanglement that is practiced causes complete degeneration, then virtuous and unobscured and unindicated minds manifest afflictions in the aftermath. If a learner, from the upper realms, etc., from whichever ground that is free from desire, the pervasive entanglement of that ground causes degeneration, only in the aftermath of virtue, for the desire realm, it is freedom from desire and virtue and in the aftermath of the unindicated. Others say that complete degeneration, the manifestation of afflictions, does not come from manifestation; complete degeneration depends on the thought of "I", so the nine paths of uninterruptedness and liberation are also like forgetting mindfulness, like when giving oral transmissions of scriptures.

Thus it is said. The nine unobstructed paths of those with the potential for realization are those who are solely of the lineage of those with the potential for realization, who constantly cultivate and respectfully cultivate, and whose moments of wisdom arise separately, by which they prevent the attainment of the dull-witted of the solely lineage, therefore they are called unobstructed paths. Because they are free from the attainment of the dull-witted, they arise after that, and are called paths of liberation. Among them, all unobstructed paths are of the lineage of those with the potential for realization. In the eighth and ninth paths of liberation, the lineage of those with the nature of non-regression arises. There, the mundane knowledge of the non-learner is also attained. Like the first exhaustion of knowledge and the attainment of the first fruit of the learner, all are of the nature of non-contamination. Thus, it should be known that these are included in the path of the fruit of the non-learner. Because it is stabilized by the path of learning and the path of non-learning, it is called extremely familiar because it is familiar in two stages. Each of those attained by sight, because it is not familiar elsewhere, its lineage is faith-inclined. When the lineage of those with the potential for realization realizes what is attained by sight, if the path of the difference of the fruit is attained, then that is one path of liberation included in the path of the fruit. The unobstructed path is also one. When the nature of regression also realizes the nature of non-regression, then the roots of the five lineages are gradually transferred in order and become those with the nature of non-regression. If it is not like that, then those with the nature of regression and so on will also become those with the potential for realization. Likewise, it should also be added to those who realize what is attained by sight. If one who regresses from the path of liberation abides elsewhere in the path of liberation, then how can that lineage lead to the attainment close to its own lineage by the unobstructed path? Just as the supreme Dharma of the world, the continuum of ordinary beings can also lead to the Dharma close to it, such as desire and attachment.
