They say that afflictions are beyond the world, they only say this aspect. As it is said: "The activity of the peak of existence is liberation, unlike being born in the upper realm." In order to know the ability of the cause that is said elsewhere, the so-called "from between the peak of existence" means from one's own ground, lower ground, and upper ground. Why? Because the uncontaminated is not complete. The so-called "superior to the three grounds" means that detachment from desire in the third dhyana, etc., is obtained by the near-attainment samadhi of the fourth dhyana, etc. There, there is no different feeling between the near-attainment samadhi and the fundamental samadhi, because there is no difference in the root of equanimity. Therefore, here, a sharp-witted or dull-witted person thinks that there is a difference in the desire-free ground, and only from the fundamental samadhi does he realize the final path of liberation. The so-called "in the third dhyana" is extensively explained, in the near-attainment samadhi there is the feeling of equanimity, and in the fundamental samadhi of dhyana, there is mental pleasure in the second and also in the third. Among them, some people, because they are dull-witted, cannot transfer the root, and only from the near-attainment samadhi do they realize the final path of liberation, and those who can do so realize it from the fundamental samadhi, which is not necessarily the case. The so-called "because they have already detached from desire", they cannot realize it by detaching from desire in the lower ground. The so-called "because they focus on the truth, they are those who enter the aspect of truth" means the sixteen aspects such as impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. The so-called "as appropriate" means that it is said in that way in such a limited amount, not everything for everything. If the lower ground is regarded as coarse, then the dharma opposite to the upper ground is regarded as peaceful, and the same should be said for others. Therefore, it is explained that the opposite of them is the aspect of peace, excellence, and renunciation. The so-called "because it is not peaceful, it is regarded as coarse", if asked: how is it not peaceful? Therefore, it is said "because the manifest creation is very large". The upper ground is also the path and

Therefore, although it is manifest fabrication, this is a very great manifest fabrication with the path. Some say that the lower ground is rough because there is much roughness and little approach to tranquility. Why is it said that bad places are very many? Because bad places are places where body and mind are uncomfortable, which means being in accordance with afflictions. Being inconsistent with this, what is said about the reason for not being abundant is that manifest fabrication is great, because even small roughness will not produce abundant happiness. Others say that the last is suffering. Like a thick wall, it refers to the nature of a thick wall. Just as it is certain that a wall will not appear, for example, if there is a wall, it will certainly not appear because it is oppressed by the sky or the direction. The same example, at that time, Karma will certainly not appear. Others say that there it is destroyed by many nearby harms, so it is seen that it must appear from it, so it is like a thick wall. Others say that even a small need can effortlessly produce extremely excellent happiness through tranquility, which is abundance. Seeing the nearby harms of the lower ground, one must want to be liberated from it, which is called certainty, therefore, those aspects of tranquility and roughness, etc., are not without differences in aspects like the noble path. If the mundane uninterrupted path and the path of liberation also become one aspect like the noble path, not aspects such as tranquility and roughness, then relying on the mundane path to go to nirvana is called the path, because it does not depend on anything. Because that is not like a leech abandoning other places. Therefore, what is focused on the completely refuted object is the aspect of roughness, etc., while the uninterrupted path is the opposite, focusing on the object of thought. The aspect of tranquility, etc., is established as the path of liberation, because there is no difference between focusing on the antidotes and the aspect. Like the path of seeing, Apyagatāvaśeṣurubhi Prayāvaśada.
