Because it says, "Do not speak without examination and analysis." What is to be abandoned by seeing is that because it enters facing inward, it cannot arouse pervasiveness. What is to be cultivated is that because it enters facing outward, if it can, then because it wants to, what is to be abandoned by cultivation is not obscured, because there is no other obscuration mentioned in the scriptures except for the view of the perishable collection and the view of clinging to extremes, and those two are also to be abandoned by seeing. Above the world of Brahma, there are also no conception and analysis, therefore, because it is free from anything, there is no manifestation in the second dhyana and so on, and there is also no obscuration in the desire realm. Because there is no pervasiveness in the desire realm, there is no obscuration, and the question is asked through the statement that generates discrimination, that is, "And what is it that relies solely on the power of pervasiveness..." etc. is explained in detail. In terms of liberation and ultimate meaning, good means that which is identical to the nature of meaning, and the good of pervasiveness is conventional truth. That is not the only ultimate good, because the suffering of formations and changes is not happiness. Nirvana and so on are explained in detail, indicating that the meaning of good here is the meaning of happiness. Therefore, through the happiness of ripening itself, the remaining grounds of the meaning of eliminating all aggregates, all selves will know that it is good. Others say that because it is both supreme and meaningful, it is ultimate meaning. Supreme means ultimate, meaning that it cannot be surpassed. Meaning is the meaning of things and entities. This will show that in Nirvana, there is a substance that cannot be surpassed by the meaning of good, because it is permanent, it is the most supreme of all good dharmas. Other "because it does not depend on correspondence and pervasiveness" means that, unlike consciousness and feeling, it does not depend on correspondence with others, nor does it depend on pervasiveness like the actions of body and speech.

It will be explained that whatever has similarities and, due to the power of motivation, does not become different by the distinction of good, non-good, and unspecified, that is good and non-good in its own nature. So, should cessation and the attainment of non-perception, as well as wisdom, faith, extreme pliancy, and equanimity, also be included here? These are also the root of good, etc., and they will never become non-good or unspecified. Some say: Because one extreme is not completely grasped, it is said to be the root of shame and the self-nature of having shame. Others say: For those with faith, it is only considered to be good in its essence. This is not the case, because it contradicts what is said about the root of shame and the self-nature of having shame. It is not contradictory, because it is intentional. What is the intention here? By reversing from the inconsistent side, it is considered good here. It is not so, because it is also only temporarily said to be self-nature good. As it is said in the scriptures: The three misdeeds and the three good deeds, and the three roots of good, rely on invincibility to prevent. Good conduct is not completely thorough, because non-attachment, etc., are invincible, so there is no cessation. If so, then the inconsistent aspects, such as anger, etc., also have the nature of non-good? Why is it only said that the root of non-good and shamelessness and lack of shame are essentially non-good? Because they rely on all the significant aspects and will become something that should be abandoned in all aspects. By doing so, anger, etc., are not, so they are explained elsewhere. Like this, anger, etc., rely on the mind's consciousness, and through cultivation, they can be abandoned. If so, then what fault would there be if birth, etc., and cessation and the attainment of non-perception, are not essentially good? If so, why are they said to be good through the gateway of motivation? It is not easy for these to obtain an equal share of the mind through motivation. It is like that from the aspect of motivation.
