For those who temporarily do not have a physical body, there is no need to mention relying on the body. For those who have become soft, etc., although they have a body, it is said to rely on a special body because it is not hollow. For those who have entered the state of mindless absorption, it is said to rely on the mind because they do not have a mind. For those who have entered the fourth dhyana, although they have a mind, it is said to rely on a special mind because it is not the basis of breathing. Therefore, it is explained in detail, "If the body is also hollow." The so-called "birth" is birth from the womb. The so-called "unfilled" is becoming hollow. It is said that other things that are not counted as sentient beings are said to be so because they are not the nature within them. Those that are completed are because there is no completed commentary. Therefore, it is said, "Because it is different from the senses," in order to obtain a common cause and an equal cause. Because the body will decrease with growth and increase with decrease, it is not produced from growth. Because of attachment and reconnection, it is not produced from the result. For the body of fruition, there is no attachment and reconnection. The lower mind cannot understand these two. For those born in the desire realm, if the mind corresponding to desire manifests, it corresponds to desire. If the breathing corresponding to desire follows the mind of the first dhyana, they can be clearly understood. Similarly, it should be said for the manifestation of the minds of the second and third dhyanas. Those born in the first dhyana refer to those in whom the first, second, and third dhyanas manifest. Similarly, those born between the third dhyana refer to when their own mind manifests. When the mind of the lower realm manifests from those born in the upper realm, their own breathing follows the mind of the lower realm. Because he cannot clearly understand them, the breathing corresponding to desire is the mind.

Thus it is understood. The grounds of the first, second, and third dhyanas are understood by three, two, and one minds respectively, in order. As for "understood by one's own ground," there are four types of grounds of breathing in, and five types of grounds of not breathing in. Abiding in the ground of breathing in, when the mind that is not breathing in manifests, breathing in does not occur. Abiding in the ground of not breathing in, when the mind of the ground of breathing in manifests, breathing in does not occur. Abiding in the ground of breathing in, when the mind of the ground of breathing in manifests, breathing in does occur. The so-called "mind of the inferior practitioner and the emanation," refers to the fact that these two types of minds manifest in the lower dhyana ground. Therefore, it is said that "the mind of the inferior practitioner and the emanation cannot understand." Furthermore, how much is required to say that mindfulness of breathing in and breathing out is fully accomplished? It should be explained as follows: When the yoga practitioner understands that the cause of breathing in and breathing out is one, and imagines the entire body as a single tube like a luminous mass, and imagines the continuum of the winds like a string of jewels, and when the consciousness of the body and the mind arise without the breathing in and breathing out moving from the body, then it can be said that breathing in and breathing out is fully accomplished. Others say that it should be understood as increase, mastery, and complete accomplishment. The so-called increase refers to the stages of small, medium, and large. Mastery refers to the name of the action of entering and arising in samadhi as long as one wishes, and distancing oneself from the conceptual thoughts that benefit and cling to the continuum. The so-called for the sake of cultivating vipashyana, refers to the fact that without being in samadhi, there is no ability to see things as they truly are. Since one does not see things as they truly are, there is no abandonment of afflictions, therefore, it is for the sake of cultivating samadhi.
