“Not shown as having form, existing in the continuums of oneself and others, focusing on those” means focusing on form and afflicted dharmas. “Having abandoned the afflictions existing in one's own continuum” means that the afflictions that focus only on that are abandoned, and only that is abandoned, not others. This shows that stopping without interruption, manifestly tending towards arising, therefore, for the sake of offering, it will not become distant, because it is also the object of the five consciousnesses. In some cases, it is also the object of the six consciousnesses. Others say, it is distant. Similarly, there would be the same fault for the unconditioned. “The present is also the same” means that if, like the present, the past and future also become distant in the same way, then the present will also become distant like the past and future. How is it established that the unconditioned is near? This is from the Abhidharma, as it says: “What are the distant dharmas? The past and the future. What are the near dharmas? The present and the unconditioned.” From the distinction of the actions of the three times, the unconditioned is because it exists in all times. Some say that there would also be the fault of not being distant for things without action. Because action is completely non-existent, like a dharma without arising, the unconditioned cannot be analyzed as distant. “Because it is obtained everywhere” means that the virtuous unconditioned is obtained without the certainty of place and time, therefore it is called near. “There would also be the same fault for the past and future” means that the past and future and the dhyanas etc. are also obtained in the same way, therefore there would be the fault of the past and future also being near. How is space near? Because it is unobtainable. Others say that space is near because its characteristic is not obstructed everywhere, and cessation without discrimination is also focused on effortlessly at all times in all places, therefore it is near. Cessation with discrimination is also, through diligence, for those who have correctly entered, where (Tibetan: ཀླ་ཙ་ནཱ་ཤུ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: kla ca nā śu, Sanskrit Romanization: kla ca nā śu, Literal Chinese meaning: Kla Tsa Na Shu), in all places, focused on without distinction.

They say that it is because of closeness. Likewise, some say that the fault will also occur for the past and the future. Apabhramsa (Sanskrit: अपभ्रंश, apabhraṃśa, meaning: corruption). Some, because they have not specifically pointed out that there is no difference in all things, say that in order to obtain it in all things, inferring about the past and the future, this cannot be used as an answer to this question. If it is not like that, then cessation through discrimination will also become not all things, nor in all things. Likewise, for cessation without discrimination, how should it be appropriately stated. Becoming two extremes means: if, like things that happen now, because of being close to the past and the future, and because of being offered by others, the past and the future are also said to be close, then the past and the future will also become close to things that happen now because of being offered by others. Since things that happen now have been interrupted, from a mutual perspective, distance itself becomes the two extremes of the past and the future. Regarding distance or closeness, it should be understood in this way, this is the teacher's view: the future has not obtained its own characteristics, and the past has abandoned its own characteristics, so they are distant. Others say that since distance itself is unreasonable for things without inherent existence (स्वभाव, svabhāva, self-nature), this statement is also unreasonable. Distance other than this, for the time being, is like this, if the past and the future, like things that happen now, are considered to have inherent existence, then they will not become the past and the future themselves, just like things that happen now. The eastern and western oceans, etc., also cannot be determined. It is explained that the arising of antidotes leads to exhaustion, and why the path becomes different will be elaborated in detail. Once means that, through all defilements and one's own uninterrupted path, obtaining severance once, is precisely the abandonment of defilements, and there is no abandonment again through the path of abandonment. Their separation attainment (Tibetan: བྲལ་བའི་ཐོབ་པ་) will arise again and again, because the separation attainment of those who have abandoned is said to be the path. Yogis, because there is the possibility of abandoning other paths and attainment, it is not once, but the separation attainment is obtained. Then, when do they obtain them? Assuming existence.

It is called six times. The so-called antidote liberation path is shown as the uninterrupted path, considering this, because the attainment of separation arises together with it. Others say, if it is said that the attainment of separation is obtained by residing in what place? Thus, the uninterrupted is the antidote, that is, it is said that the attainment of separation is obtained in the three times. Similarly, the fruits and so on made by the person of the path of liberation have also been described. Therefore, it is said to be the fruits of the ascetic practice, and here also, by describing those who have attained the fruits, just as the four fruits are mentioned, the transformation of the senses will also be taken because it is a fruit. Some say that the difference is made by mentioning the complete increase of the senses. The fruit of those who have previously abandoned is said to be the knower of the subsequent attainment of separation. Because the attainment mentioned in the Arhat arises, in this way, from the gate of seeing, the mind is liberated from the leak of desire, and so on, it is widely said that at that time, the antidote Dharma knowledge that can completely refute the desire realm is obtained. The Arhat has all the subsequent attainments, so he must obtain the antidote non-learning Dharma knowledge that can completely refute it. He has repeatedly refuted the desire realm, so he is not a partaker of the pervasive bondage of that land. Also, how is this the knower of the attainment of separation obtained by those who have abandoned it? In some places, the mind is liberated from the leak of desire by two causes. Some say by one cause. Among them, for those who have desire, the attainment of the attainment of non-leaking separation, they liberate the mind from the leak of desire by two causes, that is, in order to obtain the attainment of separation, and in order to obtain the antidote non-learning Dharma that can completely refute it. Those who have not obtained it do so with one cause. Therefore, in all these close takers, he has made the cause clear, so he is the knower of what is to be realized and what can be realized, not the clear thing. This should be examined, starting from the attainment in six times by some people.
