Or from what is concomitant? Or from what is intrinsic nature? Like this, seeing faults in everything, one asks. If something takes something as its object, then it will never be eliminated because of that, because this thing will not become the object of that thing, therefore, eliminating from the object is not reasonable. The concomitant dharmas are also because they become causes for each other, therefore the nature of their cause will not change, whichever is the afflicted mind, it itself will not become unafflicted, therefore, from what is concomitant, it is also not possible to eliminate afflictions. It is also not appropriate to eliminate these from intrinsic nature, because it is impossible to completely abandon intrinsic nature. The one who eliminates does not abandon the intrinsic nature of dharma. Therefore, how to eliminate afflictions should be examined. Precisely because of this, it is said that eliminating afflictions from the object is desirable. From what is concomitant, this is explained in detail. If it does not exist, it will not arise, therefore it is impossible to make the afflicted mind become unafflicted again. For the time being, the future, this is explained in detail. The future is that which does not generate an object, because it depends on it and does not arise, therefore it can be distinguished, because it depends on it and does not arise. How can the past be distinguished from the object? Because it depends on it and does not arise, and because it is an object, therefore afflictions should be eliminated, and they should not be taken as objects, if you say so, this is not the meaning here. Then what is it? Eliminating by fully understanding the object, this is the meaning here. In the desire realm, what is eliminated by seeing suffering and origin, the objects of subtle growth that are based on one's own realm, through the way of seeing the objects with wisdom, in the desire realm, what is eliminated by seeing, all of that can be eliminated. In the form and formless realms, what is eliminated by seeing, the objects of all of these, through the way of seeing the objects with wisdom, what is eliminated by seeing, all of that can be eliminated. What is eliminated by seeing cessation and path, the objects that are based on the unpolluted dharma, also through the way of seeing the objects with wisdom, what is eliminated by seeing, all of those can be eliminated. And how many more

Not all that serves as an object is seen by wisdom. Subtle latent tendencies also have two types of objects: corresponding objects and non-corresponding objects. Among these, corresponding objects are the subtle latent tendencies of objects, which are produced by the power of latent tendencies, and these objects also exist in the continuum of beings, with non-afflicted minds continuously arising. Similarly, non-corresponding objects are the objects produced by the causes and effects of future and past afflictions. This object follows afflictions, and therefore should be known as what is obtained by afflictions. This is because they are the conditions for generating future afflictions, and are the co-resulting effects of past afflictions. However, this does not contradict the attainment of the co-resulting effect of abandoning the antidote. Therefore, afflictions are universally grasped, and therefore, whatever is taken as an object generates afflictions, and mutual objects also trigger afflictions. For afflictions arising from the co-resulting effect of abandoning the antidote, this attainment is not possessed. Therefore, objects do not transform into causes and effects, so it is called abandonment. Because it is not fully understood, it is the object of afflictions, and the object of afflictions is obtained through the power of afflictions. The causes and effects of future and past afflictions deeply enter the continuum. Just as fully understanding things does not enter the continuum, therefore, it is desired to say that afflictions should not be abandoned from the object. But this is uncertain, because afflictions have four ways to be completely pacified, namely, fully understanding the object, and completely pacifying the object, and so on. The term "all forms" refers to virtuous, non-virtuous, indeterminate, and sentient and non-sentient beings. The term "non-afflicted dharma" refers to that which possesses virtue, and is unobscured and indeterminate.
