From the aspect of entity. The rest are not both. Other afflictions should also be examined accordingly. Non-afflictive ones are those that grow with their own categories and universal activities, and are with latent tendencies. In short, all undestroyed afflictions have latent tendencies, and there are two kinds: co-emergent things and growing things. Some are destroyed, but when one has not destroyed the attachment to them, and when one has destroyed them. The undestroyed itself is with latent tendencies by the non-afflictive latent tendencies. The destroyed is the latent tendency that is attached to that which does not grow, because it has been destroyed all at once before, so it is said to be with latent tendencies by the afflictive latent tendencies that cause the mind to grow. For those whose it is, it is not known, therefore it is said "corresponding to it" and "attached to it", etc. Is it not all the time? It is said no. Then what is it? It is said "undestroyed". For "those that do not grow also have latent tendencies", it should be connected to "is with latent tendencies". Is everything due to corresponding to it and being attached to it? It is said no. Then what is it? It is from the aspect of corresponding to it. Is it all the time? It is said no. It is said "those that are destroyed". Those that are not destroyed are also with latent tendencies from the aspect of growing. The explanation of the reason for that is because it is co-emergent with it. It is said that the antidote can never separate the mind from afflictions. Also, how do these ten latent tendencies arise? Such a question will arise. Because everything arises one after another, these arise, for all arising, although the order is not certain, but mostly in accordance with the way that corresponds to arising, showing the weighing of the order, temporarily first from having ignorance, it is said in detail. Excluding the aggregates from suffering, it is said that this is not suffering. Because of the obvious attachment to self.

Oh, that's how it is. The idea here is to be free from various forms of suffering and so on. Therefore, because of clinging to the appearance of an enemy, it is to be known as a wrong view of its general form due to attachment. But this is not a negation of everything. Because if there is no basis, the form of an adversary cannot exist. The word "proclaim" is mentioned because only the view of the perishable collection arises from wrong views. To show that there is no definite action, just as sometimes from clinging to something superior or primary, the view of clinging to the superior also arises as a consequence. The so-called "becoming an enemy" means that even the correct view is an enemy, but the hatred directed from that is not to be abandoned by seeing, because it is to be abandoned by cultivation. That is its self-image. The so-called "is" is like this, the enemy of views is the view of clinging to mind and so on as self. Other views related to other views should also be applied in the same way. In this way, hatred towards the various forms of views that have become enemies is because of being dominated by afflicted views, so it is the same as the correct view, towards one's own view, that is, the meaning of others. The so-called "because it is a view that exists in one's own continuum" means that the desire and so on that are abandoned by seeing are because they enter by looking inward. If it is to be abandoned by cultivation, then will hatred target it? Even if it is obtained, it cannot target the view because it enters by facing inward. Others say that being overly attached to one's own view will inevitably lead to hatred of other people's views, just as clinging to the view of self will hate the view of no-self. How do afflictions arise again? Seeing many causes for the arising of afflictions, seeing beings with the same karmic connection, because it is certain that they have the same karmic connection, afflictions will arise universally. For example, strong desire will encounter bird corpses and so on, and strong hatred will encounter snakes and so on, thereby manifesting afflictions. (Sanskrit Romanization) From suitable environments, afflictions also arise universally.
