Śrāntottara matapraśanikā bā(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)。

Returning to the point. If there are twelve sources, but no past and future, how is the mind source established as past? It is said: Only the present consciousness exists as the object of support for other consciousnesses, and because it is not past, there is no fault in this. Or there are three times. If it is said that there are three times, then are the past and future established? Therefore, it has already been explained as it is, that is, whatever has happened before is the past. Whatever will happen if there is a cause is the future. Whatever has occurred and has not perished is the present. How does it correspond to that? That is, how does the affliction of the past and future correspond to the past and future objects? Because it arises from that, having the subtle increase of that cause, it will be explained in detail. It will be said thus: Because it has the subtle increase arising from past afflictions, it corresponds to past afflictions. Because it has the subtle increase of the cause of future afflictions, it corresponds to the future. Because it has the subtle increase of afflictions focused on past and future objects, it corresponds to those objects. The teacher Sangharakshita says: This meaning is accumulation, that is, no past afflictions and subtle increases, etc., arise from the continuum. The arising of subtle increases from other dharmas is possible. It is also not desire. So what is it? For afflictions that are ceasing and the future, that arising is the nature of the continuum that is in accordance with the arising of afflictions, and what arises from that continuum and follows it is called subtle increase. That is also the fruit and cause of past and future afflictions. Therefore, not having destroyed the subtle increase by abandonment is called corresponding to past and future afflictions, because there is a fruit and there is a cause. That has not been abandoned. Therefore, it is said that the natures of things are profound. Śrāntottara matapraśanikā bā (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思). The nature of things is the nature of dharma. Here the teacher Sangha

Sa-sang said: Although many decisions have been made about the past and the future, here, because of the abundance of scriptures, no explanation has been made for each word. The main point of the meaning lies in referring to the Indian model. Through these gateways, all negations can be understood. The meaning of "form arises, form ceases" is that it itself changes from the present to the past. Because it faces arising, the future arises. Because it faces ceasing, the present ceases. The so-called "time also arises" is because they themselves are the basis of time. The so-called "from time also" means arising. Because it is not many moments, it is a moment. The order of existing words, whatever arises, that is what ceases, thus it is said and exemplified: form arises, form ceases. Because it is not another thing, it is like saying "it arises, it ceases." Because it faces its arising, the future arises. Because it faces its ceasing, the present arising thing ceases. The so-called "time also arises," time is contained by the law of arising, meaning from the nature of time. From the definition of "they themselves are the basis of time," time also is, from the essence of the source, dharma arises. Why? Because future time is not many moments. It is said, "because future time is not many moments," because from the nature of the accumulation of many future moments, some moments arise, therefore it is said that it also arises from time. The so-called "coming from the incidental" refers to coming from the incidental of "possessing all perfections." The so-called "is that thing abandoned?" will be explained in detail. Here, abandonment refers to appearing from obtaining and separation, and separation refers to appearing from abandoning the afflictions attached to it, if the afflictions attached to it are abandoned, it will not become unabandoned, so for the time being, it is explained in detail what is separated from. Because it is abandoned, but there are still afflictions attached to it that have not been abandoned, so there are cases where it is abandoned but not separated from it, and so on. With the power of the path of seeing, even if it is abandoned through seeing suffering, it is explained in detail.

Regarding the path of meditation, it is said, "Even if the initial aspect is abandoned," and so on. Knowing suffering, such as "in birth," refers to the Dharma-knowledge and subsequent-knowledge of suffering. Knowing the origin is also the same, taking both. The word "also" means addition. Any of the nine aspects, the remainder of what was previously abandoned, corresponds to the afflictions that are focused on it. Here, because its object is mentioned, it is different, so say the scholars. Because the objects to be abandoned by meditation are mutually dependent, it is not done where this is used to differentiate. If the pervasive objects to be abandoned by seeing the origin are focused on the objects to be abandoned by seeing suffering, then how is it? The Sutra answers that, just as with worldly actions, in the same way, the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of meditation are abandoned all at once in nine aspects. Among them, because it corresponds to the pervasive aspect that was previously abandoned, therefore, for that meaning, its object is mentioned, because the pervasive realms of unequal nature are not its object, therefore that is established. The objects to be abandoned by seeing the origin are not established because its object is mentioned.
