And so on. Object, field of experience, and focus are synonyms. In "even a fraction of the Dharma," the word "even" means جمع. Others say it means "what I take." If that's the case, then it's established that everything other than mind and mental factors is without an object. To show other views, some say that each individual atom can be a real object, but not all atoms can be real objects. The teacher Shri Palena says that objects are all without substance, because they are the objects accumulated by the five aggregates of consciousness. The Vaibhashikas say that the objects of the five aggregates of consciousness are only real, because the collection of atoms is the object, and those atoms, when gathered in that way, become the cause for the arising of eye consciousness and so on. Without the collection, there would be nothing, or the substance of those collections would be the object, so not each one would become an object. Because there is no conceptualization of objects that are not collections, and because some things called collections are real, therefore, from seeing to touching, they will arise. If it were not a collection of objects, one would not be attached to the idea of "it is blue and yellow," and if eye consciousness did not grasp blue, mind consciousness would not have the ability to conceptualize the idea of "it is blue," so if there were no collection, blue and yellow, etc., would become unreal, which is unreasonable. The Bhagavan said that relying on the eye and form, eye consciousness arises, and so on, up to relying on the mind and phenomena, mind consciousness arises. The nature of form, etc., which is not a collection, is not the object of eye consciousness, etc. If the five aggregates of consciousness that have objects of ultimate truth, what are they? Because they are not objects of their own characteristics that are free from attachment, and because they face outward, are not in meditative equipoise, do not conceptualize, gather only once, and are few. Therefore.

It is also called the Dharmadhatu with an object. Among these knowledges, five are directed towards the ultimate truth, and the rest, called "objects," are not directed towards the conventional truth either, but are sufficient as they arise incidentally. The main text should be started. As for the so-called "nine ungrasped," here, the first occurrence of the word "ངང་ (ngang)" means collection. The second means clarifying the categories of words. Some say that sound is also inseparable from the sense faculties. Because it is said, "The other nine are of two kinds," it should be known that the nine are only ungrasped. It is said that half of the Dharmadhatu is said to have an object, but not all of it; the ungrasped is what is desired in its entirety. Therefore, it is said, "Together with half of the eighth." Because it is said, "The other nine are of two kinds," it should be known that the nine are only non-existent. Half of the Dharmadhatu is said to have an object, but not all of it; the ungrasped is what is desired in its entirety. Therefore, it is said, "Together with half of the eighth." It is said, "The other nine are of two kinds," and if one has not started writing, it will be known that it is only grasped. Those that arise now are grasped, because if benefit or harm is done to them, benefit or harm will be done to the mind and mental factors. The past and future are ungrasped, because it is impossible for benefit or harm to occur to them. Forms, etc., that are inseparable from the sense faculties, and the sense faculties themselves, are inseparable like the sense faculties because they are established and blissful together. Others are present but also ungrasped, namely those that exist separately from the sense faculties of this body. For example, as for "except for the root," the roots of hair, body hair, nails, and teeth are excluded because they are inseparable from the sense faculties of the body. For example, if hair, etc., is pulled out from the root, there will be sensation, but if it is cut, it will not. This is what exists temporarily within. What is said to exist externally refers to what exists in earth, water, etc. The mention of "etc." is to include fire, wind, wood, bricks, etc. All conditioned phenomena are selfless.
