Furthermore, the ten grounds, what they are, have been extensively explained. Because they possess form that can be perceived, they are perceptible; and because they possess form as the basis and the based, or rather, because they exist in such a state, they are perceptible. There is no fault in the case of eye consciousness and so forth, because the eye and so on are not the basis for the meaning of universal grasping. The term "obstructed" means coarse, and because this object possesses coarseness, it is considered to be obstructed. So, is it intended to consider it as having form, or is it not entirely obstructed in any case? It is also extensively explained that there are three aspects to that. For example, the obstruction of a hand by a hand is because, in its own sphere, it becomes an obstacle to its arising, and therefore it is spoken of in that way when directed towards an object. The obstruction of a hand by a stone is similar, because it does not arise in its sphere, but it is not destruction. The stone to those two, that is to say, in the sphere of the hand, the stones and so on do not arise in its sphere, and this is called obstruction. Obstruction to the sphere is when those possessing a sphere obstruct the sphere. The forms in the sphere of tears do not obstruct, but it is not entirely absent. For water, there is also obstruction of closeness and so on, and therefore it is spoken of as being like most people. There are cases where it is neither, and this is explained in detail. Those who are destined to die in the womb, and those whose minds are distracted by other objects, those who have entered into cessation and the samadhi of non-perception, those who have entered into samadhi and those in whom non-perception has manifested, and those who are born in the intermediate realms, their eyes are not obstructed by either. The term "ཕ་བོང་" (pha bong) refers to a skin sparrow. The term "like most people," the reason for saying most is that some can see even at night, and this depends on karma and medicine. The term "neither" refers to the state from being destined to die in the womb to being born in the intermediate realms. Obstruction to the object refers to the mind and mental factors grasping their own object, and therefore, this is only distinguished and established on the own objects of the mind and mental factors. Again, what is meant by "བྱེད་པ་" (byed pa)? It means ability. Just as something has the ability to do something, then it is the object there, and it becomes someone who speaks in this way. Something generates its appearance.

Therefore, the mind and mental factors arising from the earth element, which grasp and focus, that is the focus. Obstruction is solidity, and entering what is not solid is non-solidity. 88B Therefore, this is widely known in the world. And how is it one's own object? Such questions arise extensively. Because it does not enter other objects. Regarding the statement "because it does not enter other objects," whether it is consciousness or a sense faculty, entering any part of form, etc., because it does not grasp others. Whatever is obscured by whatever, just as it does not enter other things, so too here, entering outside of a usable object is an obstruction. Doubt and accompaniment are established by the obstruction of focus. So, what is entering one's own object? Consciousness arises from focusing on that object and sense faculty, to which others say: Whatever object it is, that is the very thing focused on by the eye, consciousness is the nature of having an object, and eye consciousness is the nature of the grasper, if it does not enter in that way, then it should be said that it is an obstruction to it. The obstruction of focus is obstructing the arising of others in one's own object, that for the mind is form itself. The ten realms are with obstruction, and there are three kinds of obstruction, in these that are spoken of, because it is not understood by what kind of obstruction it has obstruction, therefore, here, these ten are widely appearing with the obstruction of obscuration. Because of mutually obscuring, this is because it is an accumulation of extremely small particles, therefore they mutually obscure, thus, the obstruction of obscuration is the cause of having obstruction itself. If that is the case, then the obstruction of obscuration is forms, etc., and eyes, etc. The obstruction of objects is eyes, etc., and mind and mental factors. The obstruction of focus is only mind and mental factors. Therefore, there will also be four possibilities and the combination of later words. Regarding the seven realms of mind and the aspect of the realm of phenomena, whatever the focus of any mind and mental factors is, ྅ 90A, it is only capable of establishing that it is born from maturation. The consciousness of the body is also completely changing in time, this is Matishva.
