. Because it has not been seen that coarse things such as bottles and felt are causeless, so Buddhists also do not think that they are causeless. In order to show that this is an argument for what has already been established, the "sentient beings" and so on are explained in detail. The wind with special power is explained as the cause, because it is said in the sutra: "When the wind with various powers destroys." If it is said that the wind is also coarse, so it should not be causeless. Therefore, it is said in the sutra that either its cause is the wind at the peak of destruction. In this regard, it can be suspected that it is causeless, because it is said in the sutra that "it is born from karma." Therefore, this is said with reference to other sects. The peak of destruction is the second dhyana and so on, the three dhyanas. The wind on its ground is the cause of the wind that arises in the first moment. It is said in the sutra that the seeds will be taken away, and there are five kinds of seeds: the root seed, the seed of the seed, the fruit seed, the trunk seed, and the stem seed. It is said in the sutra "even so", meaning that even if the seeds are taken away, even so, things are causeless. For example, it arises from seeds and so on, and so on. The word "etc." includes buds and leaves, etc. It is said in the sutra "only from one's own limbs", meaning that the bud only arises from one's own limbs, and these limbs also only arise from one's own limbs, even until it arises from dust. Those dusts do not arise from anything because they have no parts. If buds and so on do not arise from seeds and so on, then from where do they seek them now, so as to approach them, and their existence and non-existence, leading to their existence and non-existence, then what effect do buds and so on have on seeds and so on? This shows that it is contrary to what is seen and also contrary to the world. It is said in the sutra that the combination of their dusts has no way at all, meaning the dusts of buds and so on.

Those who are motivated by not seeing the subtle particles are close to the realm of seeds. They meet each other there and produce fruits, sprouts, and so on. Sprouts and so on have the power of seeds and so on, but sprouts and so on do not have the power themselves. Therefore, those who seek its meaning take them as close objects, which is not contrary to what is seen. Furthermore, why do they think like that? It is called without a cause, which means abandoning the visible cause of seeds and so on, and examining the invisible nature of subtle particles is not reasonable, so they think. It is called uncertain, if dissimilar things give rise to dissimilar things, then everything will give rise to everything, and if that is the case, then it is not what is seen. Therefore, sprouts should only arise from branches that are similar to sprouts, but not from seeds and so on, because they are dissimilar. It is called that it will not change like that because the power is certain, just as the seed uses the difference in power to generate the subtle particles of the sprout, but not other subtle particles. Those are also not different, just like that. Seeds, sprouts, leaves, and so on each have different powers, so they can definitely produce the respective fruits of sprouts and so on, so there is no fault of uncertainty. Undoubtedly, it must be admitted that the abilities are different. If not, it must also be admitted that even stones can combine with the subtle particles of sprouts and so on, and it must also be admitted that those who combine there can produce fruit. In order to show a very famous example, it is said that the arising of sound and dyeing arises. Sound arises from the contact of dissimilar types and actions, etc., but not from other dissimilar types such as odors. The forms, etc., produced by dyeing also arise from the dissimilar substances of the object to be dyed and the dyer, just as sounds and pleasures, etc., do not arise from other dissimilar types. It is called that the Dharma of qualities is various, because it also arises from similar types. Among them, the qualities of the fruit precede the qualities of the cause.
