The so-called "other object" means having form as an object. If this is the case, what fault would there be? There would be the fault of not possessing the same characteristics as co-emergent contact, etc., because the objects are different, and therefore it does not possess the five similarities. For feelings that are neither suffering nor pleasure, it should also be described in the same way. So, the so-called "at that time" refers to the time when the object changes; if it does not change, there is no fault. How is it? If, after the eye consciousness that has form as its object, eye consciousness or mind consciousness arises only with form as its object, then it is accompanied by feeling. Why? Because the previously arisen eye consciousness is of the same kind. Regarding "the previous consciousness," etc., why is that not contact? The reason given for this is that the conditions are not complete, that is, in this way, all the immediately preceding conditions that are the same as this cannot generate contact through the condition of feeling. Others say that the incomplete conditions here refer to the change of sense faculty and the attention arising from it. If this is the case, what fault would there be? It means thinking that because there is none, there is no fault of different objects. The so-called "loss of determination of many grounds" is because there is no contact and feeling in all minds, so this fault would occur. The so-called "grounds are three" means that the ground with investigation and analysis is the desire realm and the first dhyana. Without investigation but only analysis is a special dhyana. Without investigation and without analysis is from the second dhyana up to the peak of existence. The virtuous ground refers to virtuous dharmas; non-virtuous and indeterminate are also the same. The ground of learning refers to the uncontaminated dharmas of learning. The ground of no-more-learning refers to the uncontaminated dharmas of no-more-learning. Neither learning nor no-more-learning refers to the contaminated dharmas. The unconditioned is not discussed because all grounds are conditioned. The so-called "in the course of recitation" refers to the course of reciting the sutra, in the sutra.

Here it is said: virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral. Asamjita, especially exaggerated. Now, assuming the existence of the distinction-makers, it was not previously declared. In the chapter of the Vibhajyavāda: many grounds, virtuous many grounds, afflictive many grounds, minor afflictive many grounds, only these four are declared, not the non-virtuous many grounds. 'Born together,' it is said, is extensively explained. In that sutra, it is said that feeling, perception, and mind are born together, but not contact. Those who think that being born together is the same as being born, what is there to argue about? Even if feelings and so on acknowledge being together with contact, it will not be known that feeling and contact arise at the same time. Why is that? Because the sound of 'together' is also seen immediately after. For example, being together with love, it will not be known that love and mindfulness, the limb of enlightenment, arise together in the same moment, because they are with outflows and without outflows. So what should be understood? It should be understood that mindfulness, the limb of enlightenment, is cultivated after love. Similarly, here too, it should be known that feeling, perception, and mind arise after contact. Therefore, this cannot be a source for feeling and contact arising simultaneously. 'Those dharmas are mixed,' means that being mixed and arising together have the same meaning. What are these? It is extensively explained: the object is definite, which means the object is not different. The moment is definite, which means arising in one moment. Does feeling gradually experience that one object, and perception gather and know it? Or, in the very moment that feeling experiences, does mind also think, and perception gather and know it? This is not known because there is doubt. Therefore, this cannot be a source either. Life
