The word "only" in "because it relies only on mind" is stated to cut off reliance on anything more than that. Although the body relies on the mind, it does not rely only on the mind, because its basis is also the eyes and so on. Furthermore, how does it widely occur that "feeling arises after contact"? This is a question that sees contradictions in both cases. The mention of the Vaibhashikas is because some say that since it transcends the dharma of production, it is for the sake of the future meaning. Because they are the cause of arising together mutually, feeling is simultaneous with contact, just like other mental events that arise. How do two things that arise together become established as the producer and the produced? The producer is the producer itself, which is capable of producing the result. The produced is the produced itself, meaning that it has not yet touched itself. If that is the case, the producer and the produced are established for the born and the unborn, but not for those that are already born, this is what is being considered. Even for two things that arise together, it is seen that the producer and the produced are not contradictory, and the question is how it is not established. Saying "because it is powerless," something that is already born and has attained its own nature cannot produce again, therefore it does not have the power to produce. To show this, it is said that "for a dharma that is already born, there is no power of dharma." "The proposition and the non-difference" means that the meaning that is approached by the proposition is also grasped by the words of the reason, therefore there is no difference from the proposition. To show this, it is explained in detail that "two things that arise together," because they are the mutual probandum and the probans, there is no difference from the proposition. If, because there is no difference from the proposition, this is not a valid proof, then it would follow that they produce each other, because from here, only one is the producer, and the other is not.
