Because it would lead to error. Therefore, only other dharmas that are contrary to ignorance are ignorance. As for the statement, "Because it is also the nature of view," defiled wisdom is afflicted, but it is not unafflicted, so it is not virtuous or neutral. Moreover, if there are the five views such as the view of the aggregates, view cannot be ignorance, because the subtle aspects of ignorance and the subtle aspects of view are separately taught, just like desire and so on. Then, whatever afflicted wisdom is not a view, that will become ignorance, and that is also associated with afflictions such as desire, hatred, and pride. The statement, "Because it is associated with view," means because it is associated with ignorance. Since delusion is definitely the place of many afflictions, view is associated with ignorance, but the essence is included by the essence, not associated. It is not possible for one person to have two minds. "Simultaneous" is what is said in the Abhidharma, just like the mind and mental factors, because the basis, object, aspect, time, and substance are the same. Therefore, since the two substances of wisdom are not associated, it is certain that ignorance is not wisdom itself. The statement, "Wisdom shows near affliction," will also be explained in detail from this, just as the near affliction of the mind, the desire that arises from the mind, is other, similarly, the near affliction of wisdom is also associated with it, so it can be inferred that ignorance is another dharma, the near affliction of wisdom is not wisdom itself, because it is not associated. That is undoubtedly entangled by desire, or what, does it mean to be associated with desire? "Habit" refers to the habit of bad destinies such as desire. Similarly, as for "becoming a near affliction by ignorance," here the word ignorance should be understood as only afflicted wisdom, because it has just been

Therefore, wisdom is of the nature of affliction, this is for the sake of extensive explanation. Being oppressed by ignorance should also be understood in the same way; it is not equally possessed with ignorance. Therefore, the two natures of wisdom do not exist simultaneously. jātyantaraṃ me bāvidyāvarṇāyaṃ tya nāgamīka parikalpasya. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) The so-called "any" refers to the teacher Shri Jata, who thinks that all afflictions are ignorance. He thinks: Why? Because the venerable Mahodara said, "Not knowing, extremely not knowing, is called ignorance," according to the sutra. Merely another birth. Ignorance. Praise. Non-return. Completely distinguishing. The so-called "that" refers to, if it exists, then ignorance; if there is no cause, then nothing exists; even if all afflictions exist, there is no knowledge. Among the attachments and so on, it will not be separately declared, because all afflictions are ignorance. Among the attachments of attachment and so on, the attachment of ignorance will not be separately declared, because the attachment is not different from the rest. Similarly, among the bonds, the bond of delusion will not be separately declared, because it is no different from desire and hatred. Among the latent tendencies, it is not the latent tendency of ignorance, because the latent tendency is no different from the rest. Among the rivers, it is not the river of ignorance; among the unions, the union of ignorance will not be separately declared, because the river and the union are no different from the rest. Because it is the nature of all afflictions, and because views and so on do not have the same possession of self and other nature, therefore, views or other afflictions, that is, afflictions such as desire, etc., do not have the same possession; thus, view is not view or equally possessed with desire and hatred. Similarly, desire is not equally possessed with desire or other afflictions, and this should be said for everything. Mind also, this is for the sake of extensive explanation.

If the nature of all afflictions is ignorance, and desire is also the nature of affliction, then because it is only ignorance, the mind defiled by desire will not be liberated. It is not right to say that. So how should it be said? It should be said that it is defiled by ignorance. However, if it is said for the sake of distinction, since all afflictions are of the nature of ignorance, it will not be understood that being defiled by a certain ignorance will not be liberated. Therefore, in order to distinguish ignorance, it is said that it is defiled by desire. For example, although the twelve sense bases are not different in the nature of form, they are called the sense base of form and the sense base of sound for the sake of distinction. Wisdom is also like this, it will appear widely. Then, for wisdom, in order to distinguish between those defiled by hatred and those defiled by pride, the difference of ignorance should be shown. If it is not like this, it will not be understood by which ignorance it is defiled. If it is said that the wisdom defiled by all afflictions will not be purified, so there is no need to distinguish here, it is not right, because the mind is also the same. Just like this, not only is it defiled by desire alone, but the mind defiled by other afflictions will not be liberated, so this aspect is the same. Unclear, it means that clear is complete understanding, and unclear is unclear. Just like ignorance, it will also become a fault, which means that if nothing is clear, then the eyes, etc., will also have faults. Then, there is no clarity. If that is the case, it will become nothing, and that is not knowledge, because it is shown as a dependent arising thing like that, because it is shown as a thing of universal combination and so on. Just like "what is this", not knowing ignorance, like being unclear.
