Etc. If I exist, then saying "grasping at self" is not existence. Therefore, in order to say "it does not exist," it is said that "grasping at self" is said. The so-called "child, one who does not possess hearing, ordinary being" means that they sequentially lack the wisdom born together, from hearing, and from realization. If someone does not have the wisdom born from the habits of previous familiarity, which is obtained by birth, that is a child. If someone does not have the wisdom born from hearing, that is one who does not possess hearing. If someone does not have the wisdom born from realization, born from directly realizing the truth, that is an ordinary being. For those who hold onto the view of self, for those who have not yet obtained desire, etc., it is aspiration, which is seeking meaning. For those who have obtained it, it is attachment, which is manifest clinging. For those who speak of self, for those who have not yet obtained desire, etc., it is aspiration, which is seeking meaning. For those who have obtained it, it is attachment, which is manifest clinging. For those who have not yet obtained the object, it is aspiration, which is seeking meaning. For those who have obtained it, it is attachment. For desire, etc., whether it is aspiration or attachment, it is grasping. As it is said, it is accompanied by ignorance. Grasping and the two types of views, because there is a difference. Saying "it is because of separation" is thinking that it is not grasping. Also, "existence" means having the fruit of rebirth. The so-called "that is existence here" means the synonym of "this is existence here." Others say, "This is a synonym or characteristic of the word 'existence here'." The so-called "the way consciousness enters" means that due to the power of the impetus of karma, the continuum of consciousness is connected to the intermediate state, just like a flame spreads, going there, becoming like that, just as it was said before. The so-called "like it is said in that sutra," for example, what is old age? In general, wrinkled skin, white hair, many wrinkles, aging, bending, hunching, a rough breathing sound, leaning forward, the body relying on a cane, the body covered with black moles, dhānu dhva manad tvaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) decline, and the complete decline of the senses.

That which is fully matured and completely decayed, and the aging and bending of all formations, is called old age. What is death? Whichever sentient being, from that and that category of sentient beings, dies and transmigrates, life and warmth diminish, the aggregates are abandoned, the root of life is severed, and the time of death arrives, this is called death. This death and the previous joy, these two are called old age and death. The Vaibhashika's tenet is that what was said before is just that, referring to the twelve limbs of the five aggregates' state with twelve limbs. The meaning of the letter "ma" is seen as non-existence. The question is, what is the meaning of ignorance? In "non-dharma and non-meaning," etc., the word "etc." includes ignorance and non-terminology, as well as non-humans, etc. In "incompatible with dharma, etc.," it refers to the aspect of being incompatible with dharma, meaning, wisdom, and terminology, as well as humans, etc. It is not merely the absence of dharma, etc., nor is it different from dharma, etc. Similarly, ignorance is also a dharma related to the aspect of incompatibility, but it is not different from wisdom, nor is it merely non-existence. In "because the cause shows as a thing," with ignorance as the cause, there are formations, showing formations as things of cause. Because non-existence is unspeakable, it is unreasonable to be a thing of cause. Eyes, etc., are also not things of cause for formations, because it would lead to the consequence that formations also increase for Arhats. In "the meaning of pervasive bond, etc.," in pervasive bonds, it is said to be the pervasive bond of ignorance; in outflows, it is said to be the outflow of ignorance; in bonds, it is said to be the bond of delusion; in subtle increase, it is said to be the subtle increase of ignorance; in rivers, it is said to be the river of ignorance; in union, it is said to be the union of ignorance. If it is said like that, merely non-existence is inappropriate, and eyes, etc., will also not become pervasive bonds and bonds, etc. Why? Because Arhats are also not liberated.
