Being able to show the earth element, if there is no path wisdom in the state of the five aggregates, then form and so on exist, therefore, it is extensively stated that "different kinds." Form and feeling, etc., should not be ignorance itself. By contemplating the object of knowledge, the master did not speak of wisdom, so it should be understood that it is mentioned here. Hair and so on, the nature of the collection of many dharmas, those and the nature of the collection of many dharmas, show the element of earth and so on, because that is the main thing, so others are excluded and that is shown. Similarly, here also, in the state of the five aggregates, whichever is the main one is shown. In that case, what contradiction is there in this? Also, if those are the main ones there, then how can they be the cause of the later stage? Even if that is the case, stating the knowledge of contradiction is meaningless. Here, considering the state of those, another state is shown, like the earth element of hair and so on. That state exists in the previous end and the later end, etc., but it is not shown. Just as hair and so on grasp form and so on, because the existence of substance and imputation are different. Similarly, here also, without mentioning the state, form and feeling and so on are grasped, because the existence of substance and imputation are different. Therefore, only non-distraction is mentioned. Whatever is unreasonable here is also blocked by the door of meaning, it is not directly blocked. Whatever exists or does not exist is extensively explained, if ignorance exists or does not exist, then actions are definitely existent or non-existent, but the other aggregates are not, so that is the limb. Similarly, it should also be said for actions and so on. In this way, although there are five aggregates, only those with ignorance have actions, those without ignorance do not, for example, although the Arhats have five aggregates, they do not have merit and non-merit and unwavering consciousness, meaning that there is no consciousness that connects the continuum. Because it is close to birth, it is near.

It is action. Merit approaches merit. Non-merit approaches, and immovable action should also be viewed similarly. Desire and so forth are also spoken of in this way. Those without ignorance, although they have the five aggregates, do not have desire because they do not have afflicted feeling. Because there is no desire, there is also no grasping and so forth. The meaning of the sutra is only as it is stated, starting from "What is ignorance?" to "What is not knowing the past limit?" and so forth. Relying on ignorance, the five aggregates are considered to be the cause of actions. Therefore, the five aggregates possessed by those without ignorance will not become actions. It is not like that, because those with ignorance can see the ability to arise. Similarly, it should also be explained to others. The meaning of the sutra is only as it is stated, starting from "What is ignorance?" to "What is not knowing the past limit?" and so forth, as it is stated, that is only the meaning of the sutra. Starting from "What are actions?" as it is stated, that is only the meaning of the sutra, similarly, it should also be explained to all the limbs. Because as it is stated, that is only the meaning of the sutra, therefore, even if there are other aggregates, they are not the cause of actions and so forth. On this, the future dharmas and so forth are explained in detail, the future dharmas and so forth are dependent arising, if it is said that dependent arising is not, then it contradicts the sutra. Others say that it does not contradict the sutra. Because it has been promised to be an accumulation. If that is the case, then the past, future, and present themselves have no distinction, therefore, dividing the limbs into three parts would become unreasonable. Other schools such as those taught by the Victorious One say that dependent arising is not an accumulation. How do they understand it in this way? The Buddha said in the sutra, "Monks, dependent arising is not made by me, nor is it made by others, but whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, this dharma nature exists."
