Nothing is the cause of feeling with afflictions. These two limbs, namely contact and feeling, do not function here. If it is said that even if it is not explained, it can be understood in other ways, then in other sutras it is explained in detail that if he manifests merit, it will become consciousness tending towards merit. An Arhat does not have ignorance, therefore there is no consciousness tending towards merit. Thus, even though there is action conditioned by ignorance here, the wise will not explain action as a limb here. Or, ignorance refers to the fact that an Arhat does not have ignorance, therefore there is no action, and merely explaining action explains ignorance. The same should be explained for all limbs. In this way, it would be a fault to merely point out the limb of old age and death. This is completely irrefutable, and this is the way the author of the sutra argues. The so-called not revealing faults, although it is not desired that samsara has a beginning and an end, here it is desired to explain two connections, and it is thought that it can be explained merely through these. The question other than thinking is: Why? Here, the detailed thinking is clearly shown by the phrase "from the other world." And in what way? This has already been explained before by "for faults occurring before and after," and so on. Therefore, ignorance and action connect this world from consciousness and so on up to feeling, while craving, grasping, and existence connect the other world, which has birth and old age and death. The cause of ignorance and the result of old age and death are neither of this world nor of the other world, and they are not the cause of these two, so they are not explained here. In order to avoid the fault of explaining at an inappropriate time. The so-called both refer to dependent origination and the dharmas of dependent origination. The so-called all conditioned dharmas refer to the three times. Now what will appear is "how the future has not arisen," and so on. Past and present

It is said that Acharya Samghabhadra said that the scriptures say that only dependent arising is the basis. The scriptures say this: What are the arisen dharmas? They are the dharmas that have arisen in the past and present. Because of that, and because of dependence and non-dependence, the reasons for the unarisen, the arisen, and the arising are successively contradictory. The future is also not contradictory to being called dependent arising, because that is its nature. That is not so, just like dependent arising. Because dependent arising also says without distinction that all dharmas are it. Furthermore, what is said here as an answer is that because the skandhas gather all conditioned dharmas, and they are also what have arisen in the past and present, therefore there is no fault in this. But this is also difficult to understand, so it is not an answer, otherwise it would be necessary to analyze in detail, so let's stop here. In short, to say in detail, those future unmade things, because the causes and conditions gather and combine to make them, therefore they are conditioned dharmas. Although the future is not made, but like that saying it is a conditioned dharma, those future unarisen things are also called dependent arising. Again, if those are not made, how can they be called conditioned dharmas? Therefore, it is said "manifestly making," meaning, becoming like this and like that, having the nature of manifestly making, it is the mind that manifestly accomplishes the fruit. Saying "because of thinking," it should be understood as "like wanting to become," like wanting to become a person, etc. If you ask "by the manifestly making agent," it means showing the nearness of that making. If it is not like that, repeating "thinking with the mind" and "arising from the scriptures," the future conditioned dharma itself will become unclear. Because the making is not clear, those who manifestly make the ripening fruit will not manifestly make. Because those are the fruit of the future similar cause, and because of thinking, they will become unmade. All gathered and possessed bodies and desired objects, etc.
