If one can clearly understand this, then regarding "existence" and "ignorance," etc., it will be explained in detail. Although it is not pointed out like ignorance and inappropriate attention, just because it is included in "grasping," craving and grasping, as well as ignorance and action, can be understood as the entities of cause and effect. Therefore, if one can, like inappropriate attention, not make "existence" and "ignorance" two as other limbs, then it can be done. Because it can be done, therefore, being included in "grasping" is not the cause of not being called other limbs. Some say that "some say" here refers to the teacher Glorious Grasping. The "other sutras" mentioned in the Sutra Pitaka refer to the Sutra Pitaka that has causes, conditions, and bases. The "that" mentioned here refers to inappropriate attention. This is pointed out at the time of contact. The time when eye consciousness arises is the time of contact. Having that which is born of delusion, or that which is born of delusion is born of delusion. Because it is defiled by afflictions, it is defiled. Regarding the detailed explanation of "arising from the gathering of ignorance and from contact," that which is born from contact that is in accordance with ignorance is the feeling that arises from the gathering of ignorance and from contact. Moreover, this is undoubtedly in accordance with ignorance. A feeling that is not in accordance with ignorance is not the cause of craving. Therefore, regarding the detailed explanation of "inappropriate attention that exists at the time of contact," ignorance is not without cause, and because it arises from the cause of inappropriate attention, it should not be supplemented by other limbs other than the twelve links. Because inappropriate attention is included in contact, it is not the fault of being without exhaustion, because ignorance and inappropriate attention are born from mutual causes. In order to explain this, the "attention born of delusion" is explained in detail. Then, the "that" mentioned here refers to that which is born from the inappropriate attention of ignorance, and inappropriate attention is born of delusion. Other sayings are...

The sutra named "Sapa" is in other sutras. What is meant by "it is necessary to state here" refers to the Sutra of Dependent Arising. Because it is not stated, it is understood that this means the cause of ignorance is not stated. The teacher Palena said: It is not necessary to state it. Why? Because there is also understanding here. The question is asked, thinking that understanding is impossible here: How is it understood without being stated? Regarding "from understanding," it is not only that it is understood without being stated, but it is also thought that what is understood from understanding is not understanding. Regarding "by what understanding," here, ignorance and inappropriate attention are understood to arise from each other's causes, and this is how it is connected. The statement "The feelings of the Arhats are without ignorance" appears, meaning that the feelings of the Arhats are not associated with ignorance and are not the cause of craving, which shows that there is ignorance at the time of feeling. "Also, contact without perversion" means that it is not afflicted, and it is not the cause of the afflicted feelings of the Arhats, and this is how it is connected to the context. In this way, it will be understood that at the time of contact, there is inappropriate attention, which is the cause of afflicted feelings. Regarding this, in the Sutra of Dependent Arising, it is also said that feeling itself is the cause of craving, and its cause is also contact. Without ignorance, there is no afflicted feeling, and without inappropriate attention, there is no perverted contact. Therefore, by the understanding previously stated, here also, inappropriate attention becomes the cause of ignorance, and this is established. Without ignorance, there is no perverted attention, and it is also established that attention arises from delusion. If this is the case, it would be too extreme, which is explained in detail. Other sutras show that craving arises based on the feeling that arises from contact due to the accumulation of ignorance. The feeling of an Arhat without ignorance is also not a complete cause of craving, and there is no perverted
