However, the aspect of consciousness not abiding does not act. Because of the power of craving being universally practiced, it is precisely that consciousness is greatly established. Because there is no universal practice of craving in those. Other causes and those not counted as sentient beings, although they are in their own realm, are not abodes of consciousness. Others say that they are also abodes of consciousness, because the consciousness is closely moistened and increases in them. The act of consciousness moving is the meaning of what is called entering. Alternatively, because of fully grasping manifest joy, another entry should also be spoken of, that is, because of the complete grasping of manifest joy, whatever is the entry of consciousness mixed with feeling, etc., at the time of no difference, here it is manifestly desired to enter. The manner of a boat and softness is an example. Alternatively, consciousness also does not abide in consciousness and then move. If so, what is said in the sutra shows that consciousness is also an abode of consciousness. Joy is mental ease. The seven abodes of consciousness are of the nature of the five aggregates. How is that? This also shows a contradiction with the sutra, because if one asks, "What is the abode of consciousness here?" If one says that the five aggregates that possess them are also not present, then if the five abodes are completely abandoned, what is called an abode, what is that like? If that is the case, then "without distinction" shows that it is not contradictory to the sutras and treatises. "Without distinction" means without difference, what is the meaning of "also in all five"? "The aggregates included in the birth-source of birth" refers to what is included in the categories of humans, etc., the self of the three times. "Together with manifest joy," manifest joy is mental ease and of the nature of affliction. Here, what the venerable Sangha-bhadra said in abundance was not well examined due to the fear of abundance. The fourth is what is other than those aspects, that is, the evil destinies, etc., and the consciousness of the fourth dhyana and the peak of existence, and the uncontaminated aggregates, etc. The distinctions of the realms of existence, etc.
