From what arises, learning and non-learning occur at the time of equipoise. For those arising from virtuous practice, there is no possibility of death or transference while abiding in it, therefore, obscurations of higher realms do not arise as a consequence. Regarding "one's own virtuous and non-virtuous afflictions, etc.," these include those arising from birth and those arising from practice; obscurations and non-virtue; and when arising, those arising from the practice of conduct in the form realm; because those afflicted by the equipoise of learning and non-learning and afflictions rely on lower grounds, they arise as a consequence of afflictions that are practiced in the form realm. However, it is not from those that are one's own ground but are un-obscured and un-indicated, because they are weak and engage without manifestation. "Afflictions that are practiced in the form and formless realms, etc.," refer to the time of linking, because while abiding in what is obtained from birth, there is the possibility of death, transference, and linking to higher realms. Since they engage without manifestation, neither the two, learning and non-learning, nor the practice arising from the practice of conduct in the form realm, therefore, these do not arise from them. "As before" means excluding the fruit of clairvoyance. Regarding "arising from the practice of conduct in the form realm, and afflictions, etc.," although they engage without manifestation, they are not contradictory to the mind of arising. Excluding those arising from practice and the fruit of clairvoyance, etc., because there is no death while abiding in them. Similarly, it should also be said that it is the same for those who practice in the formless realm. "The four that are practiced in the form realm" refer to the time of linking. Regarding "excluding those arising from practice and the fruit of clairvoyance, etc.," because they are weak and engage without manifestation, the practice arising as a consequence of these does not arise, and because it depends on the practice arising from the practice of conduct in the form realm, it is also not the fruit of clairvoyance. "Afflictions that are practiced in the form and formless realms, etc.," refer only to the time of linking. As before, one's own

Only in front, called "only," refers to other than the fruit of supernormal cognition. It is said that "six arise after the place of craftsmanship," meaning that there is no death for those who abide in it. If not, who can prevent the afflictions that act in the form and formless realms? It is called "other than the fruit of supernormal cognition" because only what arises from the practice of acting in the form realm arises from it. It is called "the fruit of supernormal cognition itself" from the perspective of continuity. It is said that "what arises from the practice of acting in the form realm" means that without entering into meditation, there is no possibility of arising from the fruit of supernormal cognition, so what arises from the practice of acting in the form realm arises from the fruit of supernormal cognition. It is also said that "only from those two" refers to what arises from the mind of emanation and the practice of acting in the form realm. Now, in the extensive explanation of "the six acting in the form realm," what is called "the virtues acting in the desire realm" refers to the time of arising. What is called "the fruit of supernormal cognition" refers to the mind of emanation acting in the desire realm. And what arises from the practice of acting in the formless realm, and the learners and non-learners, refers to the time of entering into samadhi. Now, arising after the ten minds, the karma arising from the practice of acting in the desire realm refers to the time of entering into samadhi. After emanation, it refers to the time of entering, and not entering into meditation means that there is no possibility of arising from abiding in the fruit of meditation. After those born from the ripening born from the wayfarer, it does not arise, because the power is weak and they enter into samadhi without obvious intention. The mind of emanation arises from obvious intention, and without entering into meditation, there is no possibility of arising from it, so it arises after that. What arises from the practice of acting in the formless realm refers to the time of arising. Affliction
