It is called "because it is for the sake of the rest." For example, from the eye, form, appearance, and attention, eye consciousness arises, and from those, the agent other than those does not appear. Just as when the eye and so on exist, sometimes eye consciousness arises, and sometimes it does not, in the same way. If there is a Lord, then one would be able to understand the actions of others. The Lord is also widely spoken of as the first cause that acts together, and those causes produce results by their own power, so these are not the Lord himself. Secondly, it is called "arising from the cause of the Lord." In this way, the agent, the person, does not deny the directly perceived, and the agent other than the cause does not appear, so even if the Lord is the cause of all the worlds, there is no contradiction. Secondly, that which arises first also becomes beginningless like the Lord, because the Lord does not depend on other causes in order to generate the first arising, so the first arising is not produced from that cause either. Similarly, one should speak appropriately about harm. It is said, "The main thing is that there is no mind, and everything else should be spoken of except for the realization of desire." Not having studied wisdom means not having studied other treatises. Not everything is from the outside, and in order to show that it is only from the ability of the person, the results of each person's ripening are described in detail. It is said, "The other arises from the two," where it is said that form dharmas arise from the two conditions of cause and lord. So, since form is the elements and what is transformed from the elements, how are the causal conditions of the elements and what is transformed from the elements, and how are the causal conditions of what is transformed from the elements to what is transformed from the elements, and to the elements, these should be explained. All dharmas other than one's own nature, the condition of the lord is consciousness, but the condition of the cause is unknowable because of the many kinds, therefore, in this regard, how are the elements, etc., written in detail. Causes that have equal share and arise together, etc.

That which is called "by" is the cause of equal share of those elements that arose earlier. Although their own nature is different, the mutual harmony of engaging in one activity is precisely the equality of share. The cause of simultaneous arising is the mutual of those that arise simultaneously, because all cannot arise without mutual dependence, therefore it is the cause of simultaneous arising. That which is called "because it conforms to arising" means that if the elements transform, then what is transformed from the elements also transforms, therefore what is transformed from the elements conforms to the elements. If one asks, how does any one of the elements and what is transformed from the elements, which arise simultaneously, conform? Like a sprout and a shadow, or like a lamp and light. Thus, those are—here, arising is explained in detail. Because they are born from the elements, they are the cause of birth. Because they become a support, they are the cause of support. Because they conform, they are the cause of transformation. Because they are the cause of non-cessation, they are the cause of abiding. Because they are the cause of growth, they are the cause of growth. These five aspects are also only the cause of action, because other causes are not reasonable. The elements are not the cause of simultaneous arising of what is transformed from the elements, because the fruits are different. It is not like the close nature of mind, because the aspects of the elements are similar. If it is said that although it is not the only fruit, but because they are mutual fruits, they are the cause of simultaneous arising. This is not so, if the aspects of the elements and so on are not similar to the elements, and what is transformed from the elements is not a fruit, then their existence is another unique fruit different from them, and there is not even a little of the unique fruit of what is transformed from the elements. If it is said that although the fruits are different, but because they are mutual fruits, the elements and what is transformed from the elements should not be like that, this is not similar. If it is said that although they are mutual fruits, those that are not the close nature of mind do not contradict being the cause of the elements. Those that are not of close nature, are mutual fruits, and arise simultaneously with the mind, are mutual fruits.
