Some say. Others say that as the objective condition, it is not the cause of arising consciousness, but as the cause of cessation, it is not present, because consciousness is mentioned. The Vaibhashikas say that the causes are also the same, all the functional causes are not arising, as mentioned before. In the Sutra Pitaka, it is said to be the objective condition in the four conditions, but it is not said to be the unconditioned cause in the Sutra. Or it is said in the Sutra that the unconditioned is the objective condition, but it is not said to be the unconditioned cause. Therefore, it cannot be established in the Sutra that the unconditioned is the reality of the cause. Some say that most of the scriptures have disappeared, and this is said with the fundamental collection in mind. Even if the scriptures disappear, it should be known that because of the prohibition, it is not said in other scriptures, and it is not said because it follows all the scriptures without prohibition, so it can be understood, otherwise it cannot. Therefore, it cannot be determined that it is not said because it is not prohibited and because the fundamental collection has been lost. Others say that because the word "arising" appears, the Blessed One here indicates that the unconditioned is both the cause and the condition. If it is not so, it would be said: what is the cause of form, what is the condition, those are also impermanent. Therefore, there is the unconditioned as the cause, and there is the unconditioned as the condition, but some are not arising. There are two kinds of causes: arising and not violating, which has been explained to exclude the functional cause. Also ask, what is "separation"? If the meaning of the extremely famous is used to determine the meaning of the unknown, then both are unknown meanings here, so they will depend on each other, like a horse and a measuring vessel. The Sutra masters say that not only is the cessation of separate examination, but all the unconditioned are not real.

Sentience and so forth are other things, and sentience and so forth are also different from form. Similarly, the unconditioned is not other than the conditioned or each other, therefore it is not a substance. What is it then? It is said that the mere absence of tangibility is space. The word "mere" is to negate other things, and the absence of tangibility before or after destruction is called space. Just as in darkness, this is establishing the tenet. If not found, it is said that it is not encountered. "Scholar Virtue" believes that without stating the reason, saying that the unconditioned is not a substance cannot be established. Subtle growth and birth, those that have already been born, cease, and because other conditions are not complete, they will not arise. Therefore, it is said that by the power of individual examination. The individual examination of subtle growth and other births that do not arise is cessation. Therefore, if this is the case, the realm of nirvana with remainder and without remainder is the cessation of individual examination. Just like this, the cessation of the two truths is the cessation of individual examination. Among them, subtle growth is the truth of origin, and birth is the truth of suffering. Here, the seeds of afflictions such as desire are subtly growing, and when these cease, by the power of individual examination, the basis that is contrary to the arising of afflictions is obtained, and the subtle growth of afflictions such as desire will not arise in the future, because there is no seed, so it is the cessation of afflictions. Similarly, when the present birth ceases, and by the power of individual examination, it does not connect to the future birth, and not arising is the cessation of birth. For example, it is explained in detail that it is only without individual examination, because the conditions such as food are not complete, the remaining of the same kind who die in the intermediate state do not arise, this is not individual examination, so it is cessation. Other schools say that because the basis related to the habits of afflictions and following is contrary to birth, because the arising of afflictions is contrary, because of production and conformity, these subtle growths do not arise.
