These ten included states are the equal share cause of all ten states included by later-born similar beings, because they are similar and because they are born earlier. For example, the form of a sprout is the cause, and the form of an old man is the result. For the external "also," such as barley and rice, this method should be appropriately expressed. Some Sutra followers say that form does not have an equal share cause, but depends on conditions to arise, because sprouts grow from the soil taken from the bottom of a pit. Like this, they say that there is no seed of it there. Addressing these views, the phrase "whatever is form" is explained in detail. "Cause and lord" means the cause condition and the lord condition. Therefore, because it has already arisen and is a form that is not obscured and not declared, the past great elements are not the co-emergent cause, the ripening cause, the pervasive cause, and the simultaneous cause of the future great elements. What then? Because of similarity and prior arising, it is an equal share cause, and it should be understood as the lord condition among the various conditions, so there is no contradiction. Here, the near one is explained as the lord condition and the cause. The so-called distant condition contradicts reason, so it should not be regarded as the view of the scripture. na dhātu yukti bhīrya te, even if the soil taken from the bottom of the pit has seeds before the sprout arises, the sprout will not grow due to the lack of conditions. If it is not like that, if there is no equal share cause, then everything will arise from it. Or nothing will arise, because there is no definite cause. Because similarity is not definitely examined, if everything is the equal share cause of everything, then the ninth ground and the five classes will also become equal share causes of each other, which is unreasonable. Therefore, in order to definitely examine similarity, the question is asked: "What kind of everything," etc., will be explained in detail. Even then, later arising is also the equal share cause of earlier arising, and

If it is said that what arises in one moment also arises simultaneously, and what has not arisen also becomes arisen, then, therefore, all of those are not. What is it then? It is said, "Those that arose earlier." What arose earlier itself includes the past and the present. In this way, the characteristic of the co-equal cause is perfected. If it is not like that, and it is said, "Those that arose earlier and those that arose later," etc., then the unarisen fruit would not be described as a co-equal cause. If it is said, "Past, future, and present," etc., then the past fruit would not be described. If it is said like that, then the past is the co-equal cause of the past, future, and present, and the present is the co-equal cause of the future, but the future is only not a co-equal cause, this will be explained. From where does this come? Is it according to scripture or according to reasoning? This is the thought that the future is not a co-equal cause. The scripture says that this is to show the scripture, what is the co-equal cause? "The roots of virtue that arose earlier," etc., appear extensively. a yi ma tI ta varNA sA nA dhA bhe de na granthaH (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) In this way, the past is the cause of the past and the present, this is distinguished from the perspective of time. The dharmas that are similar to them refer to feelings, etc. Therefore, the co-equal cause, the future, is obscured by the power of the past, so there is no initial path continuum, it is said like this. How are the past and the present? Because the future is not described as a co-equal cause. If the scripture is considered reliable, then this scripture that shows the co-equal cause is in all three times is also scripture. The answer is, never. Because it is related to the current situation, so add "not a cause," meaning that all three times are causes. This shows that there is a future co-equal cause. Therefore, there is no fault, because the scripture says "never," so the co-equal cause, the future.

Just as blocking the land, what fault is there in contradicting the treatise? Because it is said relying on most situations, considering the causes that arise together, etc. Like this, because those have no order of before and after, and because the causes and effects are different, it is also considered the future. Among them, "the future dharma" also, is extensively explained. Tending towards arising, because all obstacles have been eliminated, so it must be the cause of equal share. Because there is an order of before and after, considering the final future state, it is said "it is never a cause", so the future is also a cause of equal share, therefore there is no contradiction to the treatise. Among them, "that is not an answer", is extensively explained. If it is said that it is considering the final state, then because it did not exist before, the state of arising is produced from the unproduced, therefore it is never a cause. This contradicts, because the reality of the cause of all states has been clarified. Others say that the final state also changes from the unproduced to the time of present arising, the collection is the fruit of the state. Because the future has no definite order of before and after, the state tending towards arising also later clearly enters into things. Because time is definite, the past is the former, the future is the latter, and the present is not without before and after. For this, birth and birth are also said to be the future and the later done. At that time, that is close to the fruit. The similar one immediately, means the condition of the similar one immediately. This thought, is what is done to the cause of equal share, in the state when the dharma is not born, because all obstacles have been eliminated, so it is determined to be the reality of the similar one immediately, therefore it is never not the similar one immediately. It is clearly like this, why did you say so much "if"? Venerable Samantabhadra said, there is no fault in this. Like an opportunity, completely separated, is the condition of the similar one immediately. It is giving the opportunity to arise, but it is not already arisen, the seed.
