and focus on the few. The nature of the body is not an inferior collection, and the actions of speech do not occur simultaneously with all minds, because in unequal circumstances, they are non-existent. All these arising etc. operate in dependence on the mind, therefore they are not interdependent. By means of the Dharma gate, not born, arising, abiding, etc.). The so-called arising, abiding, etc., does not mean that they are the causes of mutual simultaneous arising. The actions of body and speech, operating with the mind, depend on the mind itself, because they are not manifest. Why are arising and abiding, etc., facilitated by the Dharma as the main factor? If it is said that "it is the action itself," then how should it be explained? If explained in that way, then incompleteness itself in explaining the definition would become a fault of the treatise. Sthavira also said that if merely mentioning arising etc., wouldn't it already include the concept of belonging to the same time? Since it already includes belonging to the same time, why mention it again? This is to explain the past and future, that is, to understand that they are not separated from the past and future times, or to understand that they are non-arising dharmas. If that is the case, then is it sufficient to belong to the same time? Even then, only the same time can be understood. By mentioning the result, it can be summarized as the puruṣakāra result and the separation result. If it is said that the result similar to the cause and the vipāka result are also not the nature of the result? Then why explain them separately? The puruṣakāra result has four types: simultaneous, subsequent, arising at other times, and non-arising. Here, since the result that does not become a cause simultaneously is shown, the puruṣakāra result that arises simultaneously with the aggregates is excluded. Because one's own essence is not the result of one's own essence, they are mutual results. Because the aggregates do not arise simultaneously, and the puruṣakāra result is also not unique, therefore these were said, this is what Acharya Atiśa said. Through singularity and difference, one should also understand what is expressed, that is,

It is not unique. The fruit of producing a person (Pudgala) and these fruits are not the same. Because it is not the fruit of self-nature, when the fruit is mentioned here, the fruit of producing a person (Pudgala) is taken. The fruit of liberation is also because of its difference. It should be taken at different times and at the end of all these. For this reason, the master fruit is not taken here, because it is the fruit of all dharmas, not just following them. Others say that because these are not the proximate characteristics of the fruit, the master fruit is also taken by the word fruit. Mind and mental factors are not common characteristics. The word called "one", the former should be understood as meaning together, that is, birth, dwelling, and cessation are the same, that word is the former. The word called "one", the latter should be understood as meaning common. In this way, in the "ten causes", there are four in time, three in fruit, and three in virtue and so on. Here, the undiminished aspects are listed as completely as possible. Not all to all. Among them, virtue and so on are because there is no self-nature between each other. Similarly, for the uncontaminated dharmas included in the uninterrupted path, there is no vipaka fruit, but for others, there is a liberation fruit. The virtuous contaminated dharmas included in the uninterrupted path have all the fruits. For others, it does not include the fruits of virtue, non-virtue, and liberation. For the unspecified dharmas, it does not include the fruits of vipaka and liberation. In this way, some follow the mind with five causes, and some with eight causes. What is less in the mind is in the second dhyana and so on, and in the formless realms, if it is unobscured and unspecified, it is called less because the retinue is small. It is called "those other than the characteristics corresponding to self-nature", then, why are those not the co-emergent cause of the mind? Because that characteristic
