It is also said that, therefore, it is unreasonable to be another entity. If asked, how to understand it? Just like a rosary. How is the rosary? Just as trees, birds, ants, etc., exist close to each other, it is unreasonable to be another entity other than that. Just like an arm, if it is not understood that way, it has no meaning. Even so, this example is similar. If asked, are trees, etc., which exist now, considered rosaries only because of the difference in arrangement? Therefore, it is said, just like the order of the mind. Just as the mind and mental factors have a sequence in time, there is no other order except for uninterrupted cessation and arising. Similarly, sounds have a sequence in time, and the difference in arrangement cannot be determined except for uninterrupted cessation and arising. Therefore, past and future sounds, like the mind, are not contradictory as the basis of the difference in arrangement. When saying "only letters", it is thought that it is because the fault is small, not because it is not certain, so there are letters that transcend language. If it is said that in those, recognition is meaningless, then it is meaningless to fully recognize the difference between name and sentence from letters. The teacher Sangharakshita said: Because letters cannot be held simultaneously, and are momentary, and the collection is unreasonable, the collection of letters is not the collection of names, etc. Letters are manifested individually in sequence, and by that power, with a completely unmixed sequence, the consciousness of remembering as one is established as the entity of the object of knowledge, so it is shown as a collection, so there is no fault in this. You also admit the collection of letters, saying: The so-called tree depends on the collection of elements such as earth, water, fire, wind, etc., and the elements that have changed, and becomes a shadow. This is not without a proximate cause, and it will not become different. The collection of letters clearly indicates that it will temporarily become a collection of names and sentences, and it is not saying other meanings. Therefore, the Blessed One also said that because there is no collection of letters, the collection of letters clearly indicates that it will become a collection of names and sentences.

Therefore, it should not be said as one, because everything is merely imputed, and how can it be established as the nature of a real entity? There are also names with the same letters. The real entity that is close to being received is one, and there is no difference between existence and being. The real entity itself is received through the continuity of the collection, and this does not exist in the difference of states. Then, how does one recognize the name that has become something else from the letters? What is said is that because of having similarity, it is not a different Vipassanā, just like the image of a wall and the sun. The images of the wall and the sun are observed separately. Similarly, blue, yellow, and red, and the image of the wall, the sun is also regarded as different, therefore the colors are different, that is enough to say. Furthermore, because all phenomena are not the objects of speculation, it is established through the reliable scriptural authority. Some phenomena are also only the objects of the Tathagata's wisdom. The question asked by wanting to describe the differences in form is: What are these collections of names, etc., associated with? This appears extensively. What is associated with means what realm it is associated with. It only belongs to the desire realm and the form realm, not to the formless realm, because there is no language there. Others say that it also belongs to the formless realm, but those are unspeakable. It is impossible to express the collection of names, etc., of other places in the language of others, and in the formless realm, because there is no language, it is unspeakable. In the form realm, there are also those in the first dhyana and the second dhyana, etc., some people say this. Others say that even if it exists in the second dhyana, etc., it is unspeakable. What belongs to which place is the language and name of that place, that is, practicing in the desire realm is the language and expression of practicing in the desire realm. It becomes the language, name, person, and thing of one's own place, and is not associated with the three realms. Similarly, the language and expression of the first dhyana place are the language, name, and thing of the first dhyana place.
