Birth is not like that. Because for subtle dharma-nature, arising from dharma-nature is also cut off. Therefore, subtle touches and so on arising from the mind must be grasped, but it must be grasped that there is a function of dharma in nature. It is not the case that there is a function like touch from arising. Whatever function of arising dharmas is spoken of, it only applies to causes and conditions, not from arising, so arising should be rejected. Not understanding from one's own essence is not so, this is not an answer. Regarding the saying "subtle dharma-natures exist," now, in order to show other functions, it is said, "If there is no arising," and so on. Because it depends on its own characteristics, form and so on have form and so on as conditions. According to its own characteristics, form and so on are determined separately. The conditions of arising and so on are the same for form and so on. It is not the cause of form and so on. It should not be a cause, therefore, whatever is the cause is the condition, and it strongly acts on form and so on. Form has arisen, feeling has arisen, it should be understood that form and so on exist in these. It will not change even in the sixth word, for the sixth word "the arising of form" is a reason for connection. The connection is also like "the uncle of Devadatta" is other, not its own and not its non-own, so it is not "of form." Therefore, it must be admitted that arising and other dharmas are transformed into other meanings. If not, it will not become the sixth word. Similarly, until impermanence itself, if there is no abiding and so on, then there will be abiding, aging, decay, and so on. And in the sixth word between "the abiding of form" and "impermanence" it will not change either. Then, if in order to strongly accomplish trust in the arising, abiding, and so on, and for the sixth word, you want arising and so on to be transformed into other meanings, then, therefore, the wisdom of selflessness, and "the selflessness of form" is the sixth.

In order for the meaning to be established, one should also accept selflessness. The consciousness of selflessness and the consciousness of arising, etc., are not the cause of the nature of form and sensation, etc., because everything arises in the same way. Similarly, it should also be said of what can be indicated and what is obstructive. The so-called heretical imputation is what the Vaiśeṣika school imputes. Regarding "existent," etc., the word "etc." is connected with "substance nature," "form nature," and "pot," etc. In order for the knowledge of "one form," "two forms," "many forms," etc., to be established, it is necessary to accept numbers such as one. In order for the knowledge of "small form," "large form," etc., to be established, small and large measures should also be accepted. Similarly, in order to well establish the knowledge of possessing distinctness, difference, and other and non-other, it is also necessary to accept possessing distinctness, difference, otherness, and non-otherness. In order for the consciousness of "existent," etc., to be established, the word "etc." includes the consciousness of substance, pot, sound, etc. In order to establish these, for existent, substance, potness, and form, etc., general and specific characteristics should also be accepted. In "possession of form," the "possession" here is an example. The difference of form, such as "one nature of form," etc., should also be said of others. Regarding the sixth, "nature of form," how should this be examined? Because nature does not exist apart from form. Therefore, without a doubt, it should be examined in this way: because it also exists for sensation, etc., in order to distinguish the nature that has many aspects, the sixth, "nature of form," was made. In any case, one should only know that "form, form" is the nature, and one should not know others. Therefore, the reason for saying "arising" is to know that it arises from what has not arisen. Only the permanent dharma that does not depend on arising was created, such as number, etc.
