If that is the case, then only from the beginning, Dwelling itself will not perform its own function, because they have created obstacles for them. Dwelling is powerful from the beginning, but later there are aging and impermanence. Through aging and impermanence acting together with the dwelling, the previous dwelling becomes very inactive. Even if there is no difference in nature and cause, it is difficult to believe that the dwelling is powerful at first but not later. If that is the case, then aging and impermanence cannot be proven to be powerless at first and powerful later. Even if the function of dwelling is reversed, it will occur extensively, and dwelling exists through opposition to non-dwelling. If the function of dwelling is destroyed, then aging and impermanence themselves will not remain, and the dharma on which aging and impermanence themselves depend will not remain. They are dwelling because the dwelling completely grasps the action, and because it is destroyed, they will certainly not remain, so how can one think that aging and impermanence, which do not remain themselves, can perform actions? If the non-dwelling of dharma is cessation itself, then after it ceases, what does one think it can act upon? Or, do you think that aging and impermanence themselves have no action at all? Why? Because it has been said that for the sake of the dwelling's complete grasp, it is only because of the dwelling's complete grasp that the dharma does not perish as soon as it arises. If the dwelling abandons it, then what is not held by the dwelling will certainly not remain because of its own cause. That itself is this destruction, which is non-dwelling. For a dharma that has arisen for a while, it will occur extensively, just as it arises, it will completely perish, destruction, dwelling, and impermanence are not one and not real. For the one who arises, there is no non-perishing, this should be said without commitment. For one aging, etc. Aging is called similar to destruction, it is the change and transformation of the state after arising. It itself cannot be changed into another form. If it is only this, then how can it be changed? Change also

If so, how could it be as its own nature? Just like that. The so-called "becoming other" is contradictory. Even if one thing depends on another and appears as another form, such as like the sky, it is also shown as another form in the following activities. But if it depends on itself, it cannot be said to "become another form", because there are other forms and "other itself" in it. Some other schools say that when they encounter the cause of destruction, they are destroyed by impermanence itself. And abiding does not depend on other causes to abide, therefore, the actions of abiding and impermanence itself are different times. If it is said that the cause of destruction itself leads to destruction, then, if there is a cause of destruction, it will be destroyed; if there is not, it will not be destroyed. If impermanence itself exists, it is not so, so impermanence itself is considered meaningless, because it has not been seen that it has the ability to cause destruction like the cause of destruction. Similarly, it should be said for gods and debaters. Regarding "mind and mental factors" and so on, other schools believe that any form is momentary, so there is no non-momentary thing. Similarly, non-associated formations and mind and mental factors also believe that impermanence itself does not depend on the cause of destruction and is destroyed. If it is not like this, it will damage their view that they are momentary. Similarly, impermanence itself, like abiding, for other arising, because it does not depend on other causes, will also produce action, therefore, it is absurd that abiding and impermanence produce action at different times, and mind and mental factors will also abide and perish at the same time. Therefore, in the continuum, "these are the characteristics of conditioned phenomena" and so on will appear. If so, regarding "this sutra" and so on, it will be well quoted to say in detail that "these three are the characteristics of conditioned phenomena". Because arising and so on do not contradict in the continuum, the characteristics of conditioned phenomena are these that are told in the continuum, so it will be well quoted, and it is told according to the view of the moment.
