It is not so, because it contradicts the way it is said. Furthermore, if the future birth, the vast arising, is because everything possesses birth, and it is admitted that the future is the cause of generating birth, that is why the question is asked. Regarding the phrase "without cause and condition," it is not desired that birth arises without relying on cause and condition, and not all future things simultaneously possess the collection of cause and condition, and without any one of them, the result will not arise, therefore, not all future things arise simultaneously. Birth inevitably depends on the previously arisen cause that is of the same kind and family as itself, and on the collection of external conditions, for example, the arising of a sprout depends on the seed and the field, etc. Then, regarding the vast arising of the phrase "collection," this thing that is produced, if there is a collection of cause and condition, it will arise, and if not, it will not arise, therefore it must be determined that it is the power of cause and condition alone, and not birth, because even if there is birth, the result will not arise. The teacher Samghabhadra says: It is not so, because the cause of all births is the same. If the difference of future dharmas lies in birth, even if its cause is near, why do not all future things arise simultaneously? If it is said that this is the same, then this is not the same in some respects, because seeing the power of the cause without the result is because the power is not familiar. For example, from the elements as the cause, the form that arises, seeing the powers that depend on previous karma, just as the path of generating the eye is familiar. To this, the monk Dharmapriya says: For example, the eye, without conditions such as light, does not generate eye consciousness, but therefore it is not the cause of birth, similarly, birth, without cause and condition, does not generate dharma, but therefore it is not the cause of birth. What is said about this is not the same. Even if light and so on exist, it is evident that the eyes of non-blind people generate and do not generate eye consciousness, therefore the power of the eye is visible.
