Because it is said in the scriptures that gods are equal to gods, and humans are equal to humans. The mention of sentient beings is to show that equality is only for those who are counted as sentient beings, and not for those who are not counted as sentient beings. The mention of "things" is to refute the existence of imputation. The so-called "similarity of sentient beings" is the same nature, which is the cause of different appearances and expressions for different things. This sameness is different for each sentient being, and not like a universal concept, pervading all sentient beings. This sameness is further divided into non-otherness and otherness. If each sentient being has something in common, then although they are different in substance, they are the same in kind, which is non-otherness. If it is not possessed by every sentient being, then it is otherness. Therefore, the scriptures describe in detail "non-otherness, all sentient beings." And "otherness, that is, those sentient beings themselves" and so on will also appear. The so-called "to determine separately through differences" is to relate the realms, etc., separately to each one. From where does the entry and attachment of wisdom arise? That is, born in the desire realm. Or born in the form realm and the formless realm. This is what it means. To determine separately through the difference of lands, such as the southern tradition, Gaudapa, the eastern body superior, Jambudvipa, the Four Great Kings, and the land of the first dhyana, and so on. To determine through the difference of paths, such as gods and humans, etc. To determine through the difference of birthplaces, such as womb-born and egg-born, etc. To determine through the difference of castes, such as the king caste and the Brahmin caste, etc. To determine through the difference of genders, such as male and female, etc. To determine through the difference of precepts, such as upasaka and bhikshu, etc. To determine through the difference of paths, such as those in training and those beyond training, etc. The word "etc." includes upasika, bhikshuni, those who are neither in training nor beyond training, etc. The so-called equality of dharma is to determine separately through the aggregates, sources, and realms.

It should be added. The term "aggregate, aggregate" refers to the commonality of aggregates from a general perspective. The aggregate of form and the aggregate of feeling are referred to from a specific perspective. The commonality of realms and elements from both general and specific perspectives should also be understood in the same way. Because from the result, it is shown that it exists as a substance. If the term "commonality" is used extensively. The term "substance" is for the purpose of thinking and understanding, because imputation has no result. "No difference" refers to similarity, but it is not the same as the general. The differences between each other are color, shape, sound, and behavior, etc., as well as realms, earth, conduct, and birthplaces, etc. If there is no other non-different thing, then the difference becomes distinct. For all these sentient beings that are different from each other, the thought of "sentient being, sentient being" arises and is applied without distinction, and application is explicit speech. Therefore, for sentient beings that are different from each other, from the idea, sound, and result itself, just like a renunciate, there must be some common substance. Similarly, for the aggregates, realms, and elements that are different from each other, if there is no undifferentiated substance of the commonality of aggregates, then the non-different thought of "aggregate" will not arise and be applied. The same should be said for realms and elements. "Will die and will also be born" is widely used, here the commonality of sentient beings clearly refers to humans, etc., and not just sentient beings. If this is not the case, then the third proposition will be contradictory, that is, when completely liberated from suffering, the commonality of sentient beings will be abandoned, but not at other times. If one is born immediately, then the commonality of sentient beings will neither be abandoned nor obtained, so how can one speak of death and birth? Because life is exhausted, one dies, and one is born immediately, so there is no fault in this. Acharya Sthiramati said: Commonality refers to the body and
