The distinction arising from generation is the power to generate fruit, which becomes the cause of other minds. This is said to be for the purpose of showing the Dharma of the distinction of attainment, as it appears in the extensive explanation. The so-called "saying" refers to the mind of the distinction of attainment, just like examining the ears of a rabbit's horn, because its basis does not exist, which is the meaning of expressing dissatisfaction. Depending on the continuity of attainment, each of the past and so on also has three attainments. This explanation is one with special exclusion, because there is a saying that "non-prophecy obtains simultaneous birth." How to understand it? For past things, there are prior attainment, simultaneous attainment, and later attainment. Among them, what has arisen and ceased is the past. What has arisen but not ceased is the present. What arises later is the future. For things that arise now, what arises first is the past. What arises simultaneously is the present. What arises later is the future. For future things that arise, what has arisen and ceased is the past. What has arisen but not ceased is the present. What has not yet arisen is the future. In this way, some people think that there are three kinds of prior arising, simultaneous arising, and later arising. For Dharmas that do not arise, it will not become three kinds in this way. If one dies and transmigrates from the upper realm to arise, which affliction manifests and obtains simultaneous birth? Other virtuous Dharmas and the afflicted self-ground will arise first. When a person who is separated from desire in the desire realm arises in the first dhyana, then the past and future attainments arising from the merits of dhyana will arise. Among the virtuous and so on, because it is not possible for each of the virtuous and so on to become virtuous and so on, therefore it is said in order. Also, why should attainment be distinguished and established like Dharma? If it is not so, but contrary to Dharma, if it is not so, then a person who is separated from desire will be associated with unwholesome Dharmas, and a person whose roots of virtue are completely cut off will be associated with wholesome Dharmas, which will become a fallacy. If so, then will everything become unstated?

If it were not so, then like an unstated dharma, it would be equally flawed in other respects. Because it is unstated, the attainment of afflicted dharmas would not contradict the path. Therefore, since the afflictions have not abandoned their own nature, they are considered to be the same as dharma. Those included within it are of their own realm. As it is said, "That which possesses depends on that which possesses, therefore the attainment of other realms is not of other realms." Among them, for example, those born in the desire realm who engage in desire are those who engage in desire. Those who engage in form and formlessness are those who engage in form and formlessness. Those born in the form realm who engage in form are those who engage in form. The mind of emanation, which belongs to the desire realm, engages in desire. Those who engage in formlessness and are afflicted engage in formlessness. Those born in the formless realm who engage in the formless realm are solely those of the formless realm. The four types of those not included. As it is said, "Those without outflows are not included because they have not taken desire, form, and formlessness as their own." Among them, non-analytical cessation belongs to the three realms. As it is said, "It is attainable by the deficiency of conditions in the three realms, and by the power of birth, it is of the nature of the three realms. The deficiency of conditions is not due to the power of dharma, otherwise, the dharmas included in the truth of the path would not possess analytical cessation." As it is said, "Analytical cessation," etc. That which is attained by the path that engages in form is that which engages in form. That which is attained by the path that engages in formlessness is that which engages in formlessness. This is definite for non-noble beings who are free from desire. Worldly beings are noble beings who are free from desire, with and without outflows. That which is attained by the outflowless is the outflowless. Because the desire realm is the antidote, there is no attainment of separation from engaging in desire. The truth of the path.
