How is it understood that "it is not annihilation"? It is because the roots of virtue will connect, and the seeds that are completely cut off will arise again. The Sutra also says, "Monks, Devadatta will connect the roots of virtue." Furthermore, as it is said in the Sutra, "Monks, I have not seen even a hair's tip of virtuous Dharma in the continuum of Devadatta, therefore I have prophesied that Devadatta is a sinner who has cut off all roots of virtue." Similarly, for that person, virtuous Dharmas will become invisible, and non-virtuous Dharmas will arise. For him, there exists a completely cut off root of purity equal to dust, therefore, at other times, they will also be completely cut off. If it is said like that, then it should be understood that this is said from the perspective of the absence of any manifest object. "Those that strive to be born" is spoken of extensively, which is the freedom of birth itself. What is that? It is a distinction of energy that arises from that and becomes its cause, because there is no obstruction for it, because obstacles have not been created, so it is associated with them. Therefore, here it is extensively said that "only the seed is completely uprooted," among which what is not completely uprooted is the seed of those who eliminate afflictions with the supramundane path. What is not damaged is the seed of those same seeds by the mundane path, and the seeds obtained from the virtuous Dharma that arises from the non-arising of wrong views. "Becoming vast at the time of the root" refers to the occasion of striving to arise, that is, the seed. Becoming vast comes from diligently and repeatedly generating with reason. Obstruction is not striving to generate, or striving wrongly, etc. What is called a seed? This is asking because its own nature is not definitely grasped. "For the purpose of producing fruit," etc., the fruit is virtuous, non-virtuous, and unspecified Dharmas, and for the purpose of producing them, whatever is the energy, name, or form, that is their seed. In the phrase "manifestly or through," manifestly is

There is no interval between. Continuity refers to the moment of constant belonging being interrupted by others. Complete transformation refers to the difference from others, which is a distinction of transformation. That is the ability to produce fruit, that is, the fruit is produced after it. In order to distinguish it from the transformation of the Samkhya school, it is said what the word "transformation" is. Therefore, it is said "transforming into another continuum", meaning that different fruits are produced from different causes of continuum. Also asked what is continuum, things can be established as two types: ultimate and imputed. If it is said to be the ultimate continuum, then there is no difference from the Samkhya school, because according to their view, it is also the other transformation of the permanent object that is the transformation. If it is said to be imputed, then one would think, how is the transformation as it is, and therefore ask. Saying "those aggregates of the three times that become causes and effects", saying both like this is because co-emergent ones are also things of cause and effect, and those that have not become cause and effect are also of the three times. In this way, it is shown that the uninterrupted operation of the aggregates is the continuum, and the aggregates that become the close supporting conditions of the continuum arise differently before and after, which is the transformation into another continuum. The so-called "having a collection" appears widely, if for that seed of collection, it is not completely cut off from the root, nor is it damaged, it is having, in this way one will never be able to practice mindfulness, therefore (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) For that which has a collection. Know that it is said in this way with words. The so-called "in this way" appears widely, whether it is the cause of birth or the cause of establishment, everything is the established dharma, that is, the established increase. The source of the jewel itself. The meaning of establishing with the word "of". The cause mentioned before is not the dharma of the substance.
