Pa'o. What are those? Therefore, it is said, "All noble ones," the first moment is the forbearance of knowing the Dharma of suffering. Those who do not possess all bonds and abide in the first moment, and the second moment is possessed of separate cessation, therefore possessing all bonds, and abiding in the first moment, both are mentioned. Previously, the abandonment of afflictions abides in the first moment, and the noble ones are also those who do not possess all bonds. The so-called separate cessation is therefore not included. Apart from that, noble ones who do not possess all afflictions, those who abide in the first moment and those who abide in the second moment, etc., are all in accordance. Some ordinary beings are also in accordance, referring to those who have obtained the attainment of separation from the worldly path. There is no accordance with space, because there is no connection. For those who do not have attainment, there is also no non-attainment, because separation precedes accordance, some people think so. If so, then only those who have attainment will have non-attainment, but not those who have non-attainment, therefore it is desired from the established tenets. Belonging to the continuum of others and non-sentient beings having any accordance with space is merely a proposition, which is the basis of debate. The so-called accordance refers to the Dharma that manifests without being different from the continuum, the category of that Dharma is encompassed by cause and effect, and it is not the continuum. This is not reasonable for non-sentient beings, etc., and numbers, etc., which are extremely unrelated, and cessation is the same for the Dharmas belonging to one's own continuum. If it is merely a proposition, then it is not, those who do not have accordance will also not have non-attainment, like the mind that is completely extinguished, this is the basis of contention, if asked. Nirvana is not considered non-attainment, if it becomes non-attainment, it will also become attainment. Because non-attainment is not in accordance, there is no attainment, this is widely manifested. Knowing in a trans-sensory way, if a change arises from scripture or reason, then, attainment is called another Dharma.

Regarding "exists," is it understood from scripture or from reasoning? If one mistakenly thinks that things have become something else, one will say that the nature of the seed exists. To show that it is determined from scripture, it is said "in the sutra." In the sutra, it is extensively stated that the ten non-learning dharmas are the eight limbs of the noble path of the non-learner, as well as correct liberation and correct knowledge. Generation means manifestation. Individual attainment means initial attainment. Co-occurrence means subsequent attainment. The so-called "abandonment of the five limbs" means that the five pervasive practices corresponding to the lower part will be abandoned and fully known, namely: desire for the form realm, desire for the formless realm, agitation, pride, and ignorance. Some say that because it is the same as the fifth, it is called five. Others think that what is meant here are those that correspond to the upper part, because they were abandoned earlier in the stage of learning. Attainment refers to a dharma that, if it exists, will change like it will not be wasted even if it has not manifested. What needs to be understood here is that because it is individual attainment and co-occurrence, it is said in this way. If individual attainment and co-occurrence appear in the sutra, therefore the attainment of dharma is different, then it will widely appear "then for non-sentient beings, etc.," thinking that it is unreasonable and unscriptural to be co-occurrent with other sentient beings and non-sentient beings, so the question is asked "why." The teacher extensively said "in the sutra," because co-occurrence will also appear from here, so it will be co-occurrent with other things, therefore it will be inferred that non-sentient beings will be co-occurrent with other sentient beings. The seven treasures are: wheel treasure, elephant treasure, horse treasure, jewel treasure, woman treasure, householder treasure, minister treasure. Among them, the jewel treasure and the wheel treasure are non-sentient. The remaining five are sentient. Because they are enumerated mutually, the self-empowerment makes nine kinds of joy.
