The term "having" (Tibetan: dang ldan pa) is specifically explained. What is the attainment of those who have not previously attained, that is specifically explained, because the arising of the first attainment in the morning is acquisition. The attainment of those who have already attained, which exists in the second moment and so on, that is having, because universal following is having. Therefore, in that way, the word "attainment" is used for acquisition and having. For that very reason, attainment is of two kinds, thus it is explained in detail. Not attained, that is, what has never been attained before, and completely diminished, that is, having attained and then the position changed, and giving up from complete disappearance and so on, the first attainment in the morning is acquisition. In the second moment and so on, it is having after attainment. The opposite is not attained and so on. Those who have not previously attained are those who have not acquired. Those who have attained and then diminished are those who do not have. In that way, the opposite of attainment is non-attainment. For that very reason, the individual ordinary person himself is not the non-acquisition, that is, the non-having, of the noble dharmas. Whose are these attainments and non-attainments? This question is asked without specifying whether it belongs to conditioned phenomena, or unconditioned phenomena, or whether it is shown as sentient beings, or not shown as sentient beings, or whether it belongs to one's own continuum, or whether it belongs to someone else's continuum. For the time being, speaking from the aspect of conditioned phenomena, the attainment and non-attainment are those belonging to one's own continuum. This should be definitely understood as belonging to one's own continuum. It is also not those belonging to others' continuum, nor those not belonging to a continuum. Among them, if only one's own is said, then one would have clothes and other things that are not shown as sentient beings, and if one says those belonging to the continuum, then one would also have those belonging to others' continuum, therefore, in order to avoid both faults, the word "own" and the word "belonging to the continuum" are spoken. Hair and other things connected with colored sense faculties are also not shown as sentient beings, because they act according to benefit and harm, like hair and so on.

Those on the ground can see various changes such as color. They do not possess anything in common with other aggregates, etc. If they did, then ordinary beings, noble learners, those free from desire, and those who have completely severed the roots of virtue, etc., would become confused. Things like clothes and ornaments, which are not counted as sentient beings, do not possess anything in common. Therefore, there is no attainment for those that do not belong to the continuum. In this regard, the aggregate of form and the aggregate of formations are one with attainment. Similarly, the aggregates of feeling, etc., and the aggregate of formations, as well as the eye sense base and the dharma sense base, and the eye element and the dharma element, etc., should also be extensively stated. Likewise, it should be understood that things like defiled and undefiled, conditioned and unconditioned, are also one with attainment. The term "unconditioned" appears extensively, and it is shown that cessation through individual examination and non-individual examination will also become attainment and non-attainment. Cessations exist in the cessation of conditioned phenomena, whether defiled or undefiled. Whether wisdom precedes or does not precede, as it is, attainment and non-attainment are non-attainment. It is for that very reason. Neither is space nor both, because space has no connection with anything. Because there is nothing to be negated or ceased. If someone asks, what kind of person possesses what kind of cessation? Therefore, non-individual examination cessation, etc., are mentioned, and for the sake of showing this reason, it is extensively mentioned for that very reason. Undefiled itself also becomes mine because of views and habitual existence other than this. The sound of "exists" is because it is unreasonable for it to possess a real nature, and also to show dissatisfaction that the two cessations have not become real natures. In the extensively appearing "cessation through individual examination," because it is connected with all bonds and also abides in the first moment, the words are thus combined. Those who have abandoned those exist in what, those are apart from being connected with all bonds and abiding in the first moment
