Those who do not have a foundation and are constantly falling are widely spoken of as "I" and "mine." That is because they do not distinguish between what should be done and what should not be done, like children, so they are children. If it is said that the all-knowing faculty and so on should also be grasped, because they are also entirely virtuous like faith and so on, it is not so, because it is the occasion of the eighth. Few possess within the non-virtuous, body, feeling, life, mind, and eight are possessed. Here, it is spoken of in terms of the eighth. If those are grasped, they will become eleven, not eight. The so-called occasion of being a child refers to ordinary beings, and ordinary beings are those who have not obtained the Dharma of the noble ones. Therefore, the all-knowing faculty and so on are not grasped. Or, in the formless realm, there is no all-knowing faculty. Also, in what is widely spoken of as possessing many faculties, the hermaphrodite does not possess the all-knowing faculty and so on because there is no undefiled Dharma. The hermaphrodite also does not necessarily possess nineteen; this is spoken of in terms of existence. The so-called complete faculties refer to those who have obtained and lost the ultimate of the male faculty, such as the eye. Because it is a hermaphrodite, and the root of virtue is not completely severed, and there is no detachment from desire for desire, they possess faith and so on, as well as the five feelings, life, and mind. The so-called noble one with attachment, the noble one is mentioned to distinguish them from ordinary beings, because they possess the undefiled faculty. The so-called with attachment is to distinguish them from those without attachment, that is, they possess unpleasantness. One nature is immaculate, except for two. The so-called one nature refers to the male faculty or the female faculty. Why is it excluded? Because the noble path does not arise in the hermaphrodite. If one abides in the path of seeing, therefore, the all-knowing faculty and the faculty possessing all-knowing are excluded, because those two are uncultivated.

Because it is the path of seeing. However, if one abides in the path of cultivation, therefore, except for the faculty that enables knowing and the faculty that possesses knowing, because those are the paths of seeing and no-more-learning. The various distinctions of the faculties are called extensive. How is it? What comes incidentally from the various distinctions of the realms is called arising. Among the eighteen realms, how many are faculties? How many are non-faculties? In this way, the various distinctions of what comes incidentally from the various distinctions of the realms have been extensively explained, because one wants to speak of one's own essence and various aspects. Now, this should be examined: What are these conditioned dharmas? It is called extensive. What is the need for this examination? For the sake of variously distinguishing dharmas, the Abhidharma was taught. Wasn't it said that way from the very beginning? Or to prevent the results of causes and conditions from being the same. The scholar Samantabhadra said so. Some people think that this arises from a non-cause. This arises from itself. Some people think that it has the same cause. Some people think that it has unequal causes, that is, it comes from understanding nature and so on. Some people say that it has only a prior cause. Therefore, how should it arise without being inverted, in the same way it should be examined elsewhere. This is also distinguished in the context of cause and condition. It is not here, because it is only to show that things necessarily arise together. How are the characteristics different? Form has the characteristic of being formable. Feeling has the characteristic of experiencing. Because their respective characteristics are different. Although unconditioned things have different characteristics, they do not arise, so unconditioned things are not included here. There is also necessary co-arising, some say there is co-arising, but there is no necessary co-arising, for example, eye consciousness and so on, and eyes and so on, eyes and so on are the basis, because they have combination and are the same as it. Therefore, "necessary" is mentioned. All these dharmas are, kinds
