Or it is okay not to enter. That is obtainable by both. The so-called "equanimity" and "joyful faculty," namely, in order, because they are those uninterrupted paths of liberation, they lead to the attainment of separation and serve as a basis. However, regarding "transcendence of the world": If one attains the fruit of non-return for the sake of the path of transcendence, and because one's faculties are sharp, one enters the ninth meditative absorption of the path of liberation, then, for him, there are the seven mentioned earlier, as well as the eighth, the joyful faculty of the actual ground of meditative absorption, and the ninth, the faculty of complete knowledge. Because it is explained that faith and so forth are manifest. The phrase "the three faculties of complete knowledge are merely names" refers to the fact that because they are shown by other names in other situations, how are others, such as the sick, to be counted? Are they counted as most different or not counted as different? Because what is established in other situations is the faculty of complete knowledge, therefore, faith and so forth have the nature of being established, namely, the faculty of complete knowledge and so forth are established for the assembly. Having an assembly and the nature of an assembly are not due to differences in the basis that functions with equal meaning for many things. The last two fruits are obtained by nine. In order to show the contradiction of this, it is said, "Then, in the Dhammapada," that is, from entering into wisdom. All three feelings are not manifest, therefore, it is obtained only by nine. Therefore, there is no contradiction. The treatise is because it has a hidden meaning. What is the hidden meaning here? Therefore, it is said, "One attains Arhatship with eleven," and so forth. One will completely degenerate from obtaining happiness, and again obtain with joy, and from that one will completely degenerate, and again obtain with equanimity. Because the grounds are different, and they contradict each other, and because the substances are equally and similarly possessed, it is not possible for happiness and so forth to exist simultaneously. Therefore, it is also explained in detail for the non-returner, the fruit of non-return is also like an Arhat, happiness and joy and equanimity

It is attained by equanimity and so on. Therefore, if one thinks that after it is completely lost, it will be attained by the eleven faculties, this is after it is completely lost. The saying is widely spread. One who has lost from the fruit of non-return, that is, one who is detached from desire from the desire realm, will also be completely lost. Therefore, it is impossible for him to attain the faculty of happiness later, because the faculty of happiness is the realm of the third dhyana. It is said that the faculty of mental happiness exists, because one enters the path of liberation with the reality of dhyana. Therefore, it is said that after this is lost, it is impossible to attain the faculty of happiness. If the faculty is very dull, because the faculty is difficult to transfer, there is the reality of entering dhyana, even so, it may be possible to gradually attain the faculty of mental happiness, so it is not said so. If worldly detachment is completely lost from attaining the faculty of happiness, and one thinks that it will be attained by mental happiness and equanimity, therefore it is said that detachment is the forerunner. The cause of no complete loss is when he is detached from desire, etc. Detachment from desire in the desire realm is stabilized by the two paths of worldly and transcendental, therefore, one does not lose from it. At the time of the faculties, all the dharmas of the faculties should be examined, so it should also be examined how many faculties one has, etc. These are not possessed if they do not exist with each other. Why? Because it pervades all the bases of the earth and sentient beings. Thus, although faith and so on pervade all the earth, they do not pervade all the bodies of sentient beings, and other faith and so on do not pervade both, therefore, it is uncertain with the rest, whatever is other than the three of equanimity and so on, there are those who possess it, and there are those who do not possess it. They do not possess those who are born in the formless realm, those who are detached from the desire for form are born there.
