Furthermore, after engaging in so many activities, the least and the most are the paths. If so, then they will encounter the object, otherwise they will not. Since the description of the eyes and ears is uncertain, it will be clearly stated that for the things previously described, only equality should be maintained. Sometimes it will be little, which means that in most cases, it will be said like this: Because the object is uncertain, special attention will be paid, but not to enter quickly like the fire wheel of Magla. It will be shown that if there is no encounter, there is no difference, because there is no reason for difference, so it should not be gradually grasped, therefore, all should grasp only the subtle particles at once. In the phrase "merely opening the eyes," the reason for mentioning "merely" is to avoid thinking that it will change quickly. Measure is dependent on tangible matter, therefore intention does not have measure, because it is not tangible. Therefore, measure should not be measured here. For those with impaired senses, even if there is a basis, things cannot be seen, therefore it can be determined that the eyes, etc., are different from the basis. However, it is uncertain where they are located or how they exist, therefore the question is: How are the senses of the eyes, etc.? This is largely because the eyes cannot capture, so it is difficult to determine the location of these things, but because things with obstacles are located in different objects, and gathered things are produced, it is necessary to explain how they exist. For the time being, the subtle particles of the eyes, etc., will be explained in detail: The fruit of the eye, that is, the center of half of the vision, like the flower of Gosnyud, is obviously directed towards the object. Mentioning the flower of Gosnyud is to show that they are not related to each other. In order to eliminate the doubt that separation will occur because they are not related to each other, contents such as "blocked by color, etc." are mentioned. Mentioning color is to eliminate the obstacle of viewing like glass. If they are located above and below, they will block the internal things, therefore contents such as "therefore they will not block each other" are mentioned. The parts of the glass do not block each other.

If they obscure each other, they will not perceive form, just as if they were obscured by glass. The phrase "resides in the ear hole" means that the ear hole is the end of the ear canal. The phrase "in the nostril" means that in the nose, it hangs downward like a pillar. Not covering even the size of a hair tip means not pervading. Saying there is hair is to show existence. The word "also" in "if all produce consciousness" means that the body does not perish there because it is held by karma, not because all do not produce consciousness. The phrase "because of that" means that no sense organ's atom can produce consciousness of an object's atom. Mind alone becomes the basis of mental consciousness, and the one or many dharmas are also specifically indicated as the five. The phrase "basis and object are accumulations" means relying on accumulations and focusing on accumulations. If it cannot be indicated, then for what reason? Therefore, it is said "because of that." If the eye is consciousness, then the statement "what eye is consciousness" arises, which is mainly composed to indicate the basis, not to indicate the basis. The phrase "the last basis has passed" refers to the six that have just passed above. As the sutra has already stated: "The eye sees forms with a basis, but it is not the consciousness that relies on it." There, the basis of the five is for the meaning of what is actually produced in the present. The phrase "the last basis has passed" means that the last is the order of desire, and the basis of consciousness is what has passed, not what has arisen or will arise in that way. The word "also" in the phrase "also is what has passed" means that it is also what has passed. If it is said, "the five, they arise together," since they have arisen, the past is not understood, and the past is also desire, therefore the word "also" is shown to include it. Thus, the five are what has passed and what is present, but not what is future, so the establishment of the basis is not the same as the object.
