What I understand is like the mind and what arises from the mind. Sound is not like a flame, because flame and light have the same cause. Its kāraṇā bālā (Sanskrit: कारणाबाला, IAST: kāraṇā bālā, meaning: power of cause) once destroyed, there is no contradiction, just as the mind and what arises from the mind. The continuous stream is sound, because there, the non-cause is destroyed, and the result is also destroyed, just as the seed is destroyed, and the sprout is destroyed. Therefore, because the causes are different, the previous sound is destroyed, the cause of bad karma, the later sound arises, who can prevent it? Therefore, believe that what arises from interdependence is sound, therefore ear consciousness arises. If contact is fully analyzed, the distance of sound will not be determined, like touch. The buzzing sound of a bee also holds the sense of being close to the senses, like taste, etc. Because there is no interval, the ear does not actually touch the object. Also, what is the reason that the form of bells, etc., cannot be seen by the eyes? Those who give examples say: Because the cause of the eye and form working together, light does not exist. Master Vasubandhu says: Because there is an obstacle, and there is no cause. Again, it is asked: How does darkness obstruct the object? Answer: Because it obstructs light. Why? Because there is nothing like the eye that does not depend on light. If from the cause that obstructs light, the cause of the object of eye consciousness, etc., exists in the same way, like form, etc., who can prevent it? If it does not depend on the obstruction of light, then in places separated by darkness, the form of flames, etc., will not be perceived. Because all causes and results are incomplete, they will not arise. It is not because there is a cause of obstruction, but because the cause of obstruction is contrary to its cause. Therefore, it should be distinguished in this way, but it is not actually so. Here, many arguments that lead to the views of others and establish one's own views are not analyzed in detail because of the fear of heavy content. In "Three, Other," the reason for saying "Other" is that it determines the contact with the object.

鼻子和舌头和身体,阿dhyaar baa eesha lashyate(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)。

It is in order to be able to grasp the earth. If it is thought that the object is touched and not touched, then it would be said to be elsewhere and not elsewhere. If you ask how the nose touches the object, then what is the doubt? Because it grasps the support of smell, such as flowers, from a distance, but taste and touch are not like that. Because you can't catch the smell without breathing, if you ask, because with breathing, the wind that is smoked by the flower with the smell, arises clinging to the sensory faculty of the nose, so does it catch the smell? The great element of smell guides, the smell that arises clinging to the sensory faculty of the nose is grasped, and without guidance, when there is no breathing, there is no contact between the smell and the sensory faculty, so the nose is definitely touching the object. If it is not touching the object, then like the eyes and ears, there is no difference between breathing and not breathing, because it grasps at all times. The school master Zhuxian said: This is not a different meaning, because grasping the smell with breathing, how can it be established to grasp the touch at that time? Because the infinitesimal dusts do not touch each other. Therefore, the sensory faculty first grasps the object that arises nearby, so it grasps the touch. Nose and tongue and body, aadhyaar baa eesha lashyate (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning). Because there is no difference shown here, the object and the sensory faculty, etc., in terms of the object and the touch, because the smell cannot be grasped without breathing, so the reason is stated. Then what? What is obtained here? yaatra braapti moksham te (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning) In an Indian book it is X, which means additional meaning here. Therefore, three kinds of touching the object are said. The nose grasps the smell that arises from itself and nearby, but the eyes are not in other distant places. For the question, this must be said, because not breathing does not catch the smell, this is just attachment. Some people think that touching things is another meaning, for example, the Vaisheshikas, others are separated by the space realm and arise nearby, and others are separated by the self-world realm and arise. Therefore it is called touching.
