I have no reason either, because the relationship is its very nature, and there is nothing other than the relationship that arises from it. The previous teachers Dharmakirti and others have explained. Now, the teacher Kamalashila said in the Madhyamaka Aloka, it has been explained that it cannot be said to be itself and not itself. Although it is true, this is only because the self and phenomena are not established by correct knowledge, and the self and phenomena are established as the nature of reality, and only on that basis is it nominally called the relationship of one self. Because it cannot be said to be itself and not itself, it has been explained that nothing is established. Therefore, the nature of reality is the very nature of phenomena that is free from elaboration, and that is also prevented by being falsely imputed, so children and ordinary people cannot see it directly. It is said thus. In the Ornament of the Middle Way, it is said: It is not a heavy beginningless continuum, because of the power of imputing to things, therefore all sentient beings, cannot be directly seen and understood. It is said thus. The great sovereign of yoga, from the attainment of the first ground onwards, the Tathagatas clearly realize it. Ordinary people only cut off the imputation through reasoning, but do not see it directly. It is said thus. In that very text, it is said: For those who cut off imputation, with the reasoning that makes them know, those who follow inference measure, the yogic powers are clear to the senses. It is said thus. Wrongly conceiving the two truths, having wrong conceptions when seeing the nature of reality, in the relationship between phenomena and the possessor of phenomena, refuting the clinging to inverted views. This is called a summarizing verse. Some say that when ordinary people cut off with imputation, they know through reasoning, saying thus: Whatever is separated from one and many, that is without self-nature in the ultimate sense, and these words spoken by me and others are also merely saying that they are separated from one and many, can they make the established thesis established and realized? In response to this, it is said: Those who are sharp-witted and accustomed to practice realize that if it belongs to the kind of practice that requires similar phenomena, then it is uncertain whether that practice is the nature of imputation or the nature of dependence on others.

Therefore, it will appear as a common uncertain reason. However, if it is said that generally following, such as an image, is without fault, then, in response to that, it is said: For that similar example, is the connection established or not established? If it is not established, then there is no point in giving the example. If it is said that it is established, then, in response to that, it is said: Is it by combining the negative word, establishing the connection between the ultimate truth of the reason and the selflessness of the ultimate truth to be proven? Or is it not like that, but by combining the negative word, establishing the connection with some conventional truth? If it is the former, then say: Is that connection established by direct perception or by inference? If it is said that it is established by direct perception, then, because the nature of reality is seen directly, both the proponent and the opponent will become noble beings, which is too extreme. Therefore, following the sign of the dharma to be established becomes meaningless. Therefore, since ordinary beings cannot directly see the nature of reality, if one speaks of the impossible, it will also become self-contradictory. Therefore, that example appears as an unestablished example, and because it is promised to exist on the dharma to be established, it is not the nature of the reason that is established, so it will appear as an unestablished reason. For that connection, direct perception will harm it, because it always appears as an image, so it is impossible not to see the image. Inference will also eliminate it, because whatever is promised but not seen cannot be given a name, for example, a place devoid of a pot. This ultimate truth, which is the basis of the debate, is also an invisible pervader because it is not seen directly. Because the image appears, it also becomes a contradictory pervader. Fame also clearly shows this, if someone who understands words and whose mind has not been changed by an established sect is asked what is in the mirror, he will say that there is only a similar face, it is impossible to say that he has not seen anything. This is also contradictory to one's own words, is the so-called seeing the ultimate truth referring to the image? The scriptures also clearly show this, in the question asked by the noble human and non-human king Tree, the Blessed One
