Also. Speaking frivolous words requires four branches: having a mind of attachment, thinking of speaking frivolous words, having spoken frivolous words, and others hearing it and generating attachment. To summarize the extensive explanation of verbal actions, these are the four aspects of speech. Thus it is said. To show covetousness, it is said, "What is covetousness?" and so on. "May all the wealth of others become mine." Regarding this, whatever sentient beings' wealth, such as actual grains, actual treasures, and actual lands, one thinks with attachment, "How can I make these mine?" Desiring to steal the wealth of others by force or stealth, and wanting to make it one's own, is called covetousness. Having three branches makes it become covetousness: there is also the thought of covetousness, also thinking of stealing wealth, and also starting to engage in the act of stealing. To show malice, it is said, "What is malice?" and so on. With a mind of hatred, wanting to sever the life of others, or wanting to harm the body, this thought is malice. To show the meaning of those two, it is said, "Severing the life of others," etc. Thinking of severing life is thinking of killing others. Cutting means thinking of cutting off limbs with weapons, etc., or thinking of severing wealth, etc. Tormenting means thinking of binding, beating, etc. Having three branches makes it become malice: having hatred, thinking of harming, and starting to act in order to harm. To show wrong view, it is said, "What is wrong view?" and so on. What is contrary to the correct view is wrong view, that is, "There is no this world, there is no other world," etc., which is the opposite of what was said before. Wrong view denigrates five things: denigrating going or not going to the next world, denigrating sowing seeds and the foundation, denigrating cause, denigrating effect, and wasting sacred things. Among them, there is no this world.
