it becomes the state of non-noble ones. Truth is the meaning of non-reversed, non-erroneous, and authentic. The truth that leads to becoming a noble one is the truth of the noble ones. Or, the truth spoken by the noble ones is the truth of the noble ones. Then, wouldn't the truth spoken by ordinary beings become the truth of the noble ones? The answer is that all of these are spoken through the blessings of the noble ones, such as the Tathagata, and because they show the cause of becoming a noble one, they are called the truth of the noble ones. Or, these are true for the noble ones, so they are called the truth of the noble ones. Question: Then, are these false for ordinary beings? Answer: These, whether they are noble ones or ordinary beings, are not reversed in the characteristics of suffering, etc., for all beings, so they are called the truth of the noble ones for all. If that is the case, if it is true for all, why is it said "the truth of the noble ones"? Answer: The noble ones see suffering, etc., as they truly are, but ordinary beings do not see them as they truly are, so they are called the truth of the noble ones. Therefore, it is said in the sutras: "What the noble ones speak as truth, others perceive as suffering and pain; what others speak as truth, the noble ones perceive as suffering and pain." It's like that. Also, like: "Just as the tip of a hair is not felt in the palm of the hand, but if it enters the eye, it causes discomfort and harm. The palm is like a child, unaware of the suffering of formations; the wise one, like the eye, is disgusted by it." It is said like this, so the five aggregates of grasping, etc., are suffering, which the noble ones see, but ordinary beings do not see it that way. Then, why are only the four noble truths determined? Because there are four kinds of reversed views. To counteract these, only four truths are taught. The four reversed views are: the view of the aggregates, the view of annihilation, the view of permanence, and the view of no action. Among them, viewing the five aggregates as self is the antidote to the view of the aggregates.

Furthermore, the truth of suffering was explained. Here, as an antidote to the view of annihilationism, which holds that one aggregate will not be reborn into another life, the truth of the origin was explained, that is, it shows that as long as karma and afflictions exist, the aggregates will not cease. As an antidote to the view that the five aggregates are permanent and enduring, the truth of cessation was explained, that is, it shows that if karma and afflictions are abandoned, the arising of the aggregates will cease, and therefore they are not enduring. As an antidote to the unmade view that if others do good, others will experience the result, the truth of the path was explained. Whoever cultivates the path will be liberated, but others will not be liberated by cultivating the path. If that were the case, the results of the actions done by Devadatta would be experienced by the sacrificer, which would be a fault. Or, as an antidote to the four types of inverted understanding, only the four truths were explained. The four types of inverted understanding are: inverted understanding of the result, inverted understanding of the cause, inverted understanding of liberation, and inverted understanding of the path to liberation. Among these, inverted understanding of the result means that attachment, pride, and the aggregates, elements, and sense bases that are the result of karma, like an impure vessel, have the nature of various impurities, are constantly burned by the fire of the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the suffering of conditioning, are constantly destroyed by the diamond of impermanence, and are separated from self, self-possession, and the experiencer, but are grasped as pure, happy, permanent, and self. To counteract this, the noble truth of suffering was taught. Inverted understanding of the cause means that to counteract the assertion that all external and internal things arise from different causes and no cause, such as Brahma, Ishvara, Purusha, nature, time, and no cause, the truth of the origin was taught. Inverted understanding of liberation refers to the tenets of the tirthikas.

And I, and dust and darkness, and sentient beings are equal, then one can see the one called the chief, or by pleasing the great powerful one, they say that liberation and heaven can be attained, in order to prevent these, the truth of cessation is taught. What is called the perverted understanding of its method is that some people eat coarse foods such as flowers, fruits, roots, tree trunks, etc., and sleep on grass, leaves, wooden boards, thorns, ashes, etc., and say that they will be liberated, and perform the five fires asceticism, fasting, jumping off cliffs, etc., and say that they will be liberated, in order to prevent these, the truth of the path is taught. Or, in order to show the fruits and causes of defilement and purification without perversion. Only the four noble truths are taught, and showing the fruit of defilement without perversion is the truth of suffering, because the fruit of all defiled dharmas is suffering. In order to show the cause of defiled dharmas without perversion, the truth of origin is taught, because karma and defilements are the cause of all defiled dharmas. In order to show the fruit of purified dharmas without perversion, the truth of cessation is taught, because nirvana is the fruit of the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. In order to show the cause of purified dharmas without perversion, the truth of the path is taught, because the noble eightfold path is the cause of nirvana. Or, from the perspective of phenomena, seeing that samsara has faults and nirvana has virtues, in order to make them completely liberated from samsara, they exert effort, so it is said. Among them, achieving the seeing of the faults of samsara is the seeing of the truth of suffering, if one sees that the beings of the three realms have eight kinds of suffering, one will see that the dharmas of samsara have faults. The cause of generating the faults of samsara is:
