Decline refers to forgetting and not remembering what was done and said before. Weakness refers to being drowsy and staying in a state of sleep for a long time due to the derangement of the mind. Diminution refers to not being able to get up quickly from such sleep derangement. Total diminution refers to the life activity abandoned by previous karma also coming to an end, manifesting the moment of facing death. In summary, the above-mentioned can be summarized into eleven meanings: the eleven are the transformation of the body, the transformation of sound, the transformation of appearance, the transformation of radiance and strength, the transformation of being without illness, the transformation of color, the transformation of behavior, the transformation of non-material senses, the transformation of material senses, the ultimate, and the exhaustion of life activity. Among these, "nakedly" indicates the transformation of the body. "Hair turning white" indicates the transformation of hair. "Many wrinkles" indicates the transformation of appearance. "Aging" indicates the transformation of radiance and strength. "Emaciation" indicates the transformation of being without illness. "Black cloth covering the body" indicates the transformation of color. Bending like a crooked tree, and the body being stiff, the body bending forward, and grasping a cane, etc., indicate the transformation of behavior. "Ignorance" indicates the transformation of non-material senses. The senses all maturing, declining and being destroyed, weakening and diminishing, etc., indicate the transformation of material senses. It indicates that all actions have aged to the end. Total diminution indicates the exhaustion of life. In order to indicate death, it is said, "What is the indication of death?" and so on. The so-called "any sentient being" refers to sentient beings such as gods, humans, animals, and hell beings. The so-called "from any class of sentient beings" refers to places of the same class such as gods and humans. So, the characteristic of death is that when warmth, life, and consciousness are lost, that is called death. Therefore, in other sutras it is also said: When abandoned by life, warmth, and consciousness.

When this body is abandoned, it is like a lifeless tree, falling to the ground and lying down. As it is said. Among them, those sentient beings who die without experiencing suffering internally are those who have passed away. Those sentient beings who die while experiencing suffering internally are those who have passed away. When consciousness abandons the body, and the body and consciousness become separate, it is called separation. The cessation of the sense faculties of form, such as the eye, is called non-appearance. Those who die untimely are deaths. Those who possess merit quickly die without prolonged association with harm or suffering. When dying, the time when breath flows and hiccups are emitted is called the exhaustion of life. Those who die at the right time are the cessation of the root of life, the abandonment of the aggregates, and the destruction of all sense bases. Alternatively, the exhaustion of the activity of life is the cessation of the root of life. Separation from the previous aggregates is the abandonment of the aggregates. When the sense bases of the previous aggregates, such as the eye, no longer perform activities such as seeing, it is the destruction of all sense bases. In order to explain the conclusion of the detailed explanation of the twelve links of dependent origination, the Buddha said, "Monks, this is..." and so on. So, why are the twelve links, such as ignorance, arranged in this order? Answer: Because confusion arises in the very beginning, ignorance is explained first. If one is confused, then inverted actions manifest, so after that is action. If inverted actions manifest, then because of that, the mind also becomes inverted, so after that is consciousness. If the mind becomes inverted, then connection arises from that, so after that are name and form. From name and form, the sense faculties fully arise, so after that are the six sense bases. After the sense faculties are complete, the sense faculties enjoy objects, so after that is contact. By enjoying objects, attachment to pleasant feelings arises, as well as the desire to abandon painful feelings, therefore after that
