One and a quarter. In that land, it was cut from a tree called Jambudvipa, so the land was also named Jambudvipa. The lifespan of the people of the Eastern Videha is two hundred and fifty years, and the height of the body is eight cubits. The lifespan of the people of the Western Godaniya is five hundred years, and the height of the body is four bows, or sixteen cubits. The lifespan of the people of the Northern Kuru is one thousand years, and the height of the body is eight bows, or thirty-two cubits. The lifespan of the people of the Southern Jambudvipa is uncertain, and the height of the body is said to be one bow, but there are also those who are longer or shorter than this, so it is not certain. The so-called six heavens of the desire realm refer to the six categories of devas belonging to the desire realm, from the retinue of the Four Great Kings to the Paranirmitavasavartin devas. They are called devas because they are born in higher realms, or because they possess pure bodies and enjoyments. The so-called heaven of the retinue of the Four Great Kings refers to the Four Great Kings who protect the world, namely Dhritarashtra, Virudhaka, Virupaksha, and Vaishravana. The devas born there or belonging to their retinue are called the retinue of the Four Great Kings. Their lifespan is calculated as fifty human years as one day, for a period of five hundred years. The height of the body is one-fourth of a yojana. The so-called Thirty-three Gods refers to those who perform virtuous deeds together, so those born there are called the Thirty-three Gods, that is, the thirty-two attendants of Indra, the lord of the gods, plus Indra himself, making thirty-three in total. The thirty-two ministers are the eight Vasus, the twelve sons of gods called the Sun, the ten sons of gods called Rudra, as well as Nabhas and Takarkye, totaling thirty-two. Other devas belonging there are also called the Thirty-three Gods, and the lifespan of these devas is calculated as one hundred human days as one day, for a period of one thousand years. The height of the body is half a yojana. The so-called Twin Gods refers to...

In the Indian language, it is called 'Yama,' because it is free from the suffering of fighting with the Asuras, it is called 'Free from Strife.' Or, in terms of meaning, 'Yama' means to walk, and because one walks there through merit, it is also called 'Good Time.' Or, because they shout 'Mel tze tun tun, emo happiness, emo happiness,' they are also called 'Tun Jom.' Their lifespan is calculated by considering two hundred human days and nights as one day and night in the heavens, and their lifespan is two thousand years. The height of their bodies is three hundred cubits. They are called 'Tushita' because they are always accompanied by joy and, in comparison to the lower gods, they possess the bliss of enjoyment, so it is Tushita. Their lifespan is calculated by considering four hundred human days and nights as one day and night, and their lifespan is four thousand years. The height of their bodies is five hundred cubits. Or three-quarters of a yojana. They are called 'Nirmanarati' because they delight in their own emanated enjoyments, so they are Nirmanarati. Their lifespan is calculated by considering eight hundred human days and nights as one day and night in the heavens, and their lifespan is eight thousand years. The height of their bodies is six hundred cubits. Or four-fifths of a yojana. They are called 'Paranirmitavasavartin' because they have the power to control the enjoyments of others' emanations, so they are Paranirmitavasavartin. Their lifespan is calculated by considering one thousand six hundred human days and nights as one day and night in the heavens, and their lifespan is sixteen thousand years. The height of their bodies is seven hundred and fifty cubits. Or two and a half yojanas. In the Abhidharma, it is explained that the lifespan of the gods of the desire realm is equal to the measure of their bodies (cubits or yojanas). Among them, the Four Great Kings and the Thirty-three Gods of the desire realm engage in sexual intercourse like humans, in pairs. But because there is no semen, they experience pleasure merely through breathing, and other enjoyments are the same as humans. The Good Time gods engage in sexual intercourse through embracing, and they experience pleasure merely through embracing. The gods of Tushita engage in sexual intercourse through holding hands.
