Ignorance is explained. The so-called "not knowing the six sources of contact" explains the ignorance of pride. Thus, because there are seven types of ignorance, seven names of ignorance, such as not knowing, are also mentioned. Ignorance of time is called not knowing. Ignorance of things is called not seeing. Ignorance of transformation is called not realizing. Ignorance of the supreme is called darkness. Ignorance of only that is called delusion. Ignorance of all defilements and purification is called ignorance. Ignorance due to pride is called darkness. Alternatively, there are three types of wisdom: the wisdom of listening, the wisdom of thinking, and the wisdom of meditation. Among them, not knowing as it is, is called not knowing. After explaining the nature of ignorance, because ignorance is the opposite of the wisdom of listening, it is seeing. It is the opposite of the wisdom of thinking, so it is not realizing. It is the supreme opposite of the wisdom of meditation, so it is darkness. The opposite of the three types of wisdom is ignorance, and ignorance also has three types: small, medium, and large. Among them, small ignorance is called delusion. Medium ignorance is called ignorance. Large ignorance is called darkness. The branches of ignorance have been explained. Because this is the time to explain the branch of action, it is asked: What is the action caused by ignorance? etc. In order to explain that, three actions are mentioned, namely, bodily action, etc. In short, it is explained like this: The bodily, verbal, and mental actions produced by the mind of the nature of merit, non-merit, and immovability are called actions. Among them, the action of non-merit is: the actions of body, speech, and mind, which have faults, cause harm to both oneself and others in this life and future lives, and are experienced in the form of suffering, this is the action of non-merit. The actions of body, speech, and mind, which are without faults, do not cause harm to both oneself and others in this life and future lives, the feeling

Experiencing happiness is the karma of merit. The actions of yogis are without fault, not harming oneself or others in this life or future lives, and experiencing feelings that are neither happy nor painful is the unwavering karma. The three karmas are mentioned briefly, and in order to explain them in detail, it is said, "What is the karma of the body?" and so on. Exhalation refers to the breath going outward, that is, the breath flowing outward. Inhalation refers to the breath flowing inward, that is, the breath entering the body. The so-called nature of the body refers to exhalation and inhalation, as well as the shaking and movement of the hands and feet, which are the nature of the body's actions, and therefore it is called the nature of the body. For example, the consciousness of the eye resides in the organ of the eye, just as it arises, so too exhalation and inhalation reside in the body, and therefore it is called dependent on the body. For example, when the body arises, a shadow arises, just as the body and shadow are related, so too when there is a body, exhalation and inhalation arise, and because they are related to each other, it is called related to the body. For example, just as a shadow disappears when there is no body, so too if there is no body, exhalation and inhalation will also disappear, and therefore it is called arising from the body. Saying that exhalation and inhalation are the karma of the body is only an approximate representation, and the virtuous bodily actions, etc., produced by virtuous minds, etc., are also shown to be the actions of the body. Otherwise, virtuous bodily actions and non-virtuous bodily actions would not become the karma of the body. In order to summarize that it is shown by falsely establishing the result from the cause in this way, therefore it is said, "Therefore, exhalation and" etc., the cause of exhalation and inhalation is the body. The movement of the body is called the action of the body, and exhalation and inhalation also arise from the body, therefore, the name of the cause, the body, is added to the result, exhalation and inhalation, therefore, exhalation and inhalation are called the karma of the body. In order to show the karma of speech, it is said, "What is the karma of speech?" etc., separately established.
