The cause of becoming pure is those of Dharma nature who will eventually be completely extinguished. The cause of not becoming pure is those who will not be extinguished. Therefore, by the power of knowing various realms, one knows to lead (beings) into the path that is in accordance with the cause. By the power of knowing all paths, one knows all the classifications of paths, such as "this path is full of defilements, this path possesses purity, this path will become very pure, this path will quickly become pure." Therefore, by the power of knowing all-going paths, one knows the past extreme and the cause of the five aggregates of the past extreme. By the power of remembering past lives, one connects the past extreme with eight kinds of names and six kinds of behaviors, and distinguishes them in detail. Therefore, by the power of remembering past lives, starting from the past extreme, one knows the death and rebirth of sentient beings. By the power of knowing death and rebirth, one knows how sentient beings are born and die in the future. Therefore, by the power of knowing death and rebirth, one knows that those who have not completed their own benefit will still have the connection of birth in the future. By the power of knowing the exhaustion of outflows, one knows that those whose own affairs have been completed and whose minds have been liberated will attain extinction in the nature of visible Dharma. Therefore, it should be understood that these ten powers are both different and not different from each other. After explaining the ten powers, in order to explain the four fearlessnesses, wanting to explain as it was explained, therefore, it was said, "What are the four fearlessnesses of the Tathagata?" and so on. Among them, fearlessness means without fear or without dread, that is, being liberated from the obscuration of knowledge that is not common to the Shravakas, and promising in all aspects to completely awaken all Dharmas within the retinue, and being liberated from the obscuration of afflictions that is common to the Shravakas and promising within the retinue, and leading sentient beings who desire liberation to be liberated from suffering.

For the sake of... Vowing to teach the path of arising, and vowing to abandon what becomes an obstacle to attaining that path, thus vowing in four ways, even if gods and non-divine beings, as well as humans, refute it, it will still stand firm, and abiding without fear without seeing any signs, this is called the four fearlessnesses of the Tathagata. Among them, from "The Bhagavan has perfectly and completely awakened" to "In the world, the wheel of Brahma that no ascetic or Brahmin who shares the same Dharma has ever turned is now turned," it shows liberation from the obscurations of knowledge that are not common to the Shravakas, and it is a vow to manifest enlightenment in all aspects, showing fearlessness. This is the first fearlessness. From "Whatever the Tathagata has spoken of as a Dharma of obstruction" to "How does it change?" wherein "By what" is the same as before, up to... it is a vow to abandon what becomes an obstacle to attaining that path, this is the second fearlessness. From "Whatever arises as a noble one because of this" to "The same as before," it shows that in order to completely liberate sentient beings who desire liberation from suffering, the vow to teach the path is shown, this is the third fearlessness. From "Defilements are exhausted" to "Turning the wheel of Brahma, this is," it is a vow to be liberated from the obscurations of afflictions that are common to the Shravakas, this is the fourth fearlessness. "This Bhagavan has perfectly and completely awakened, I fully know" means that after abandoning all obscurations of knowledge, one directly perceives with wisdom the aspects of phenomena such as aggregates, elements, and sources, and understands it in one's own mind, which is called "Perfectly and completely awakened, I fully know." "You have manifested this Dharma" refers to this...
