Like a village on the border, it is constantly harassed, like a village on the border that has many enemies who destroy and plunder, this body also has internal harms, such as diseases, and external harms, such as cold and heat. The so-called "like a sand city that is easy to collapse" means that just as a sandcastle is unstable and has the nature of collapsing, this aggregate is also momentary and has the nature of being unstable. The so-called "like fire that does not know satisfaction" means that just as fire, no matter what is put into it to burn, will not be satisfied and will burn everything completely, this body is also like drinking salt water, and it is never satisfied with enjoying the five objects of desire. The so-called "like the ocean that is difficult to cross" means that just as the great ocean has many harms such as makaras and is difficult to reach the other shore, this body also has many poisons of afflictions and is difficult to abandon. The so-called "like a snake's nest that should be carefully abandoned" means that just as people who fear the harm of poisonous snakes should stay away from the snake's nest in order not to encounter the harm of poisonous snakes, people who fear the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death should stay away from this aggregate.
