The so-called "immediately preceding condition" and "objective condition," the alaya consciousness is both cause and condition, so it is the cause and condition. The five faculties such as the eye are the source of the production of their respective consciousnesses, so they are the dominant condition. The immediately preceding cessation of the mind faculty gives rise to consciousness, so it is the immediately preceding condition. The six external objects such as form and sound are the objective condition of consciousness. The five kinds of results are: the result of conformity with the cause, the result of dominance, the result of personal action, the result of maturation, and the result of separation. If one does good deeds in the previous life, one will want to do good deeds in this life; if one does evil in the previous life, one will want to do evil deeds in this life, this is the result of conformity with the cause. Having committed evil and unwholesome deeds in the previous life leads to being born in a bad country in this life; doing good deeds leads to being born in a good country, becoming the master of good or bad countries, this is the result of dominance. Farming the fields yields abundant harvests, trading yields abundant profits, herding and raising livestock yields many animals, this is like the result of personal action. Giving alms leads to becoming rich, stealing and robbing leads to becoming poor, killing and beating leads to short life and many diseases, etc., this is the result of maturation. Cultivating the noble path and abandoning afflictions is the result of separation. The four kinds of proper acceptance and rejection are: what happens now, when it matures in the future, is suffering, this is because of the power of habituation in the previous life, just like taming a wild animal, without any effort, feeling happy and joyful, but this cause will lead to being born in the three lower realms in the next life. What happens now is suffering, and what matures in the future is happiness, this is because there is no habituation in the previous life, so for the good side, one cannot endure various ascetic practices, and even if one勉强does it, one feels very painful, but this pain will lead to being born in the heavenly realms and the place of liberation in the next life. What happens now is suffering, and what matures in the future is also suffering, this is because there is no habituation in the previous life, just like taming a wild animal, one's strength is not enough.

It is impossible to do immediately, uncomfortable, and also causes rebirth in the three lower realms in the future. The happiness that arises now, and the happiness that matures in the future, refers to those who abide in meditation, whose body and mind are comfortable even now, and whose result is the attainment of higher realms and liberation. Among the eight sufferings, the suffering of birth is that when aggregates are formed in the three realms, they become like the basis of the three sufferings and the eight sufferings, because they are pervaded by the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the suffering of conditioning, hence it is called the suffering of birth. The strength, power, color and shape of youth diminish from youth, filled with white hair and wrinkles, and diligence and wisdom disappear, this is called the suffering of old age. When the body is afflicted by phlegm, serous fluid, scabies, smallpox, and epidemics, and when one is attached to one's retinue, relatives, friends, wealth, etc., and suffers inwardly and gives rise to sorrow, this is the suffering of sickness. When karma and lifespan are exhausted, and warmth and consciousness abandon the body, beloved relatives and friends, and good wealth are lost, and Yama's executioners, holding ropes and clubs, lead one away involuntarily, this is the suffering of death. Whether it is sentient beings or non-sentient beings, or wealth, things that are useful and cherished by oneself are robbed by enemies such as fire and water, or die and are destroyed, thereby giving rise to sorrow and mental anguish, this is the suffering of separation from what is loved. Uncomfortable dwelling, unfriendly companions, and the results of unwholesome actions, etc., encountering unpleasant things, always causing harm to body and mind, and giving rise to hatred, this is called the suffering of encountering what is disliked. Wanting to be with superior and beloved things but not being able to be with them, not wanting to encounter disliked things but encountering them, this is the suffering of not finding what is desired. Or, wanting those who do good to increase their good deeds and decrease their evil deeds, but not being able to do so. In short, the meaning is to summarize the eight sufferings into three: birth and old age.
