所謂「如是」並非指立刻顯現的事物。而是指菩薩獲得初地,因此意指其他意義。對於戒律等任何善法方面,凡是信仰和有能力者,就讚揚並引導他們去實踐。或者,對於那些認為僅僅守持戒律就足夠的人,為了引導他們也去做其他善事,所以貶低戒律而讚揚佈施等。總之,將一切波羅蜜多與他人聯繫起來,這是指對其他人的意圖。何謂隱晦之意?即引導方面的隱晦之意、體性方面的隱晦之意、對治方面的隱晦之意以及轉變方面的隱晦之意。這些話語並非絕對肯定,而是考慮到僅僅是委婉的說法,為了引導他人而說,這就是隱晦之意。例如,當外道問道:『我存在還是不存在?』此處僅僅依據眾生的相續是剎那生滅,或者有化生眾生存在,就說『我存在』。當聲聞問道:『法的實體存在還是不存在?』就說蘊、界、處存在。為了使眾生接受大乘,並且不對此教法感到恐懼而宣說,這是引導方面的隱晦之意。如果有人問道:『一切法的事物存在還是不存在?』針對那些執著於三種自性而認為不存在的人,就針對遍計所執性而闡述說不存在;而對於那些認為存在的人,就針對依他起性和圓成實性這兩種自性而闡述說存在,這就是針對體性方面的隱晦之意。為了對治眾生八萬四千種煩惱,也宣說了八萬四千種法門。為了對治貪慾,宣說了修不淨觀,這是對治方面的隱晦之意。殺父、殺母、破和合僧、殺阿羅漢、以惡意出佛身血,如果說這樣就能證得無上菩提,這並非按照字面意思去實行,而是指了悟無明的本性空性,就是殺母;了悟嗔恨的本性空性,就是殺父;將五蘊分解為空性,就是破和合僧;

The term "suchness" does not refer to something that is immediately apparent. It refers to a bodhisattva attaining the first ground, thus implying a different meaning. Regarding any virtuous aspect such as discipline, those who have faith and ability are praised and encouraged to practice it. Alternatively, for those who think that merely keeping discipline is sufficient, in order to encourage them to do other virtuous deeds as well, discipline is disparaged while generosity is praised, and so on. In short, connecting all the perfections with others refers to the intention towards other people. What is meant by hidden intention? It refers to hidden intention in terms of introduction, hidden intention in terms of characteristics, hidden intention in terms of antidotes, and hidden intention in terms of transformation. These words are not absolutely certain, but are spoken considering that they are merely euphemistic expressions, in order to guide others, which is hidden intention. For example, when non-Buddhists ask, "Does the self exist or not?" here, based merely on the fact that the continuum of beings is momentary arising and ceasing, or that there are beings who are born miraculously, it is said, "The self exists." When Hearers ask, "Do the entities of phenomena exist or not?" it is said that aggregates, elements, and sense bases exist. In order to make beings accept the Great Vehicle and not be afraid of this teaching, it is explained, which is hidden intention in terms of introduction. If someone asks, "Do the entities of all phenomena exist or not?" For those who cling to the three characteristics and think that they do not exist, it is explained that they do not exist with regard to the completely imputed characteristic; while for those who think that they do exist, it is explained that they do exist with regard to the dependent and the thoroughly established characteristics, which is hidden intention in terms of characteristics. To counteract the eighty-four thousand afflictions of beings, eighty-four thousand Dharma doors are also taught. To counteract desire, contemplating impurity is taught, which is hidden intention in terms of antidotes. Killing one's father, killing one's mother, causing dissension in the Sangha, killing an Arhat, drawing blood from a Tathagata with malicious intent—if it is said that by doing so one will attain unsurpassed enlightenment, this is not to be practiced according to the literal meaning, but rather refers to realizing the emptiness of the nature of ignorance, which is killing one's mother; realizing the emptiness of the nature of hatred, which is killing one's father; dissolving the five aggregates into emptiness, which is causing dissension in the Sangha;
