The Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya that I speak of, wherein the Dharmadhatu and the mirror-like wisdom are the Dharmakaya. In the Akanishta palace, teaching the Dharma to the Bodhisattvas of the tenth Bhumi, and adorned with excellent marks and signs, is the Sambhogakaya. In Jambudvipa, manifesting the body of Buddha Shakyamuni is the Nirmanakaya. The three natures are the Parikalpita, Paratantra, and Parinishpanna. Among them, with respect to the six objects such as form and the six faculties, the deluded consciousness mistakenly believes that there exist real entities of phenomena and persons, this is the Parikalpita. The Alaya-vijnana and its retinue, arising from the momentary continuum in the manner of cause and effect, this is the Paratantra. The emptiness Dharmadhatu and non-conceptual wisdom are the Parinishpanna. What are the three Yanas? The Sravakayana, Pratyekabuddhayana, and the Abhisamaya of the Mahayana. Among them, relying on a virtuous spiritual friend, from knowing the nature and four aspects of the Four Noble Truths of suffering, origin, cessation, and path, realizing the selflessness of the person, thereby abandoning the afflictive obscurations, this is the Sravakayana. Not relying on a virtuous spiritual friend, understanding the nature of dependent origination arising in accordance with the order and reversing from the order, realizing the selflessness of the person, thereby abandoning the afflictive obscurations, this is the Pratyekabuddhayana. Gradually cultivating the ten Paramitas and the ten Bhumis, realizing the selflessness of both phenomena and persons, thereby abandoning both the afflictive and cognitive obscurations, this is the Abhisamaya of the Mahayana. What are these five distinctions? The distinction of lineage, the distinction of entry, the distinction of time, the distinction of Bodhi, and the distinction of liberation. Among the three Yanas, the great difference is called these five distinctions. That is, previously hearing the Four Noble Truths and the twelve limbs of dependent origination

The different habits of listening to the Paramitas are called the distinction of lineage. The Small Vehicle and the Middle Vehicle focus on their own benefit. The Great Vehicle does the benefit of both self and others, which is called the distinction of practice. The Hearers attain Arhatship through three or seven lives, the Pratyekabuddhas through a hundred kalpas. The Great Vehicle attains Buddhahood through three immeasurable great kalpas, these are the distinctions of time. The two vehicles understand the absence of self in the person, the Great Vehicle understands the absence of self in both phenomena and person, this is called the distinction of Bodhi. The two vehicles attain the Arhatship of one-sided peace, the Great Vehicle attains non-abiding Nirvana, these are the distinctions of liberation. The three Pitakas are the Sutra Pitaka, the Vinaya Pitaka, and the Abhidharma Pitaka. Among the twelve scriptures, the Sutra, Geya, Udana, Nidana, Avadana, Itivuttaka, Jataka, Vaipulya, Adbhutadharma, and Upadesa, the first seven are classified into the Sutra Pitaka. Nidana, Avadana, Jataka four are classified into the Vinaya Pitaka. Upadesa is classified into the Abhidharma Pitaka, which is accurately summarized. So, what is the need for this? In order to perfect the three trainings, that is, the Sutra Pitaka extensively explains Samadhi, the Vinaya Pitaka explains liberation from sinful actions, and the Abhidharma Pitaka explains the self-characteristics and common characteristics of various dharmas, therefore, it is combined with the three higher minds, higher morality, and higher wisdom in order, so as to achieve perfection, which is its meaning. What are the three wisdoms? That is, the wisdom arising from hearing, the wisdom arising from thinking, and the wisdom arising from meditation. The three wisdoms of roughly and meticulously understanding the Dharma, that is, the wisdom focused on name, sentence, and letter is the wisdom arising from hearing. The wisdom focused on name, sentence, letter, and all the meanings expressed by them is the wisdom arising from thinking. The wisdom focused on the meaning of
